Kira Yoshikage, a long-term murderer in Morioh lived a whole new quiet life wearing his name, he never tells his name to strangers, except for his coworkers who were admiring his handsome features. But the blonde man didn't care about love, and thought of it as a distraction towards his real goal in life. Having a /fully/ quiet life. The blonde man occasionally have his girlfriends day by day until they became ripe, replacing it to another girl with pretty nails, slender fingers, soft hands. That's what's he's shamefully into. Not exactly believing in love— it was like acid to him that he had to dodge the capability of having a lover someday. He hated thinking about it.

He currently was working at his job, sitting in his cubicle as a few females walked past him, he could glance immediately yet secretly to their hands, feeling his nails growing longer and longer. He hissed, biting his bottom lip as he tried not to... not to lose control and kill a possible coworker. It'll get messy and he'll never get a good night's sleep. He noticed a familiar man with olive skin, big raven eyes, their hair carefully styled, as he walked past his cubicle with a cigarette pack in hand. Thankfully Kira was close to the smoking room, and he can get a close look on this man, named... Kosaku Kawajiri, a married man yet didn't quite goes well with his wife and his ignorant son.

Kira bit his lip, continuing to work on the papers, but sadly he couldn't since the females were trying to ask him if he wanted to join them for lunch, which he couldn't since he and his girlfriend had a promised date today, and it was... likely home cooked. Kira caught a glance from Kosaku who was beginning to lighten up his cigarette, taking a drag after. The blonde man was somehow curious what made people so addicted to that little death stick pressed against Kosaku's two pretty fingers— wait, pretty fingers? Kosaku's? He never thought of the men's hands, ever, so that's a first.

He felt a tap on his cubicle, he looked up from his work and noticed his boss smiling down at him, "Hello, Kira-San. I would like you to— ehem, take care a few files you needed to do later. So, sadly, you couldn't go home immediately later in the evening." His boss explained, "and someone's going to help you get through it, he's going to lend you the files after lunch." And after that, his boss left with Kira clenching and unclenching his hand, subconsciously. His plan was destroyed and now he's trapped with work and a coworker he had thought to be a nobody.

Let's just say, let's call it a day, Kira needed a little break so, he decided to try a stick of cigarette to blow off some steam, right? Ain't that what people get comfort for? For just a death stick? Curses for his inexperienced body, standing up as he pulled out a lighter from his bag, going outside and entered the smoking room with a lighter in hand. The two men locked eye contact and then averted their eyes, Kira continued on what he was planning to do, so he leaned against the wall, "Can I have one cigarette? I wanted to try and what'll it taste, just curious." He questioned, a small tight smile appearing on his lips.

Kosaku looked at Kira and then nodded at his coworker, sliding his hand in his pockets to find the pack of cigarettes before handing one to him, "Be careful, it stings at first." The man with beautiful big eyes spoke with a warning in his tone, as he averted his eyes and that found Kira adorable. Accepting the cigarette that has been lend and lights it up, slowly yet hesitatingly took a drag of it. Making him cough, receiving a hum from Kosaku, "I told you to be careful, two or three drags will eventually cool it down.." he says in a whisper yet loud for Kira to hear.

The blonde murderer wanted to strangle the other man from being so sappy about his inexperience. He just ignored him and continued to take a drag, somehow he felt like he wanted to know more about this man in front of him, eyes were dull, he was.. really having a comfortable atmosphere towards this man's surroundings. "Do you have any problems in life that brought you to smoking?" He questioned which caught Kosaku off guard, looking at Kira with a suspicious gaze but soon it softened as the male let out a deep sigh.

"My family doesn't know about my bad habit, it just.. I just decided to try and clear my mind off things since my wife was ignoring me... including my son." He spoke softly, taking a drag as he exhaled, noticing the piercing gaze from the blonde man, and continued, "I thought everything will be fine, but I guess life doesn't want me to do those stuff and made my life a mess." The Kosaku was exposing his background too much that made Kira more interested in the man, walking close to him that their shoulders bumped awkwardly. Receiving a gaze from Kosaku.

Kira managed to smile, "it's okay, life isn't that easy to handle but," he paused, taking a drag, his head up high as he exhaled. "I'm sure that it'll be alright if you managed to get things pretty fine." He added, looking over at Kosaku. Who stared at Kira with a comfortable gaze, a small smile appearing on his lips which faltered immediately.

"I'm just a boring guy, she doesn't deserve me." Kosaku spoke, a soft sad sigh emitted out of his lips as he eyes were half lidded, flicking the cigarette a little bit so the ashes fell on the ground they both stood. "I felt like she was going to file a divorce with me but... I made her change her mind and everything stayed like this..."

'She doesn't deserve you, You deserve to be with a partner that shares your mind' Kira thought to himself as he hummed. "If you think that's that, then.. good luck with your future, Kawajiri-San." He spoke, patting the male's shoulder as he let the cigarette fall on the ground and stomped it with his right foot, twisting it and left the room. Leaving a confused yet light Kosaku in the smoking room.

It wasn't that bad to have a friend,

Or is it?
