"move your ass over!" zara yelled trying to push troy
off of her leg. in response he pushed her head away playfully. she laughed slightly and reached to her left
to get a slice of pizza from the box that rested on
rosalina's lap.

avani walked in from the side door with a bag in
her hand. "what'd we get this time?" carmela beams.
avani stretches out her hand revealing the 10 LSD
patches.

marianos eyes widen. "acid— are you guys fucking
crazy?" he exclaims. mattia stands up and grabs the
bag from avani's hands. opening the bag, he takes
one tab and places it on avani's tongue then takes
another and puts it on his own.

anyone else may of thought it was cute but they've
been bestfriends since diapers, practically twins.
"who's next?" he smiles widely.

zara extended out her arms with her palm facing
upwards as mattia placed the bag on it. "troy," she
hummed as troy willingly stuck out his tongue. she
mimicked avani and mattias actions then also
placed one on her boyfriend, vinnies tongue.

"mar, you gon' do it?" she challenged. mariano
shook his head vigorously. "no i'm an at-" the group
rolled their eyes as they've heard this remark millions
of times throughout their lifetime. "athlete we know"
they all mocked.

"okay fine only cause you guys are calling me pussy."
he gave in. "nobody said that love," carmela responded
while passing both him and rosalina a tab.

while the eight of them relaxed and waited for the tabs
to dissolve they discussed the party that was happening
over the weekend. "are we going to go?" zara questioned as they usually preferred only hanging as a group.

"why would we be talking about it if we weren't
planning to go?" vinnie scoffed.

zara hated vinnie under the influence. when mariano is high he's energetic. troy when high, relaxed. while vinnie was just an asshole under any circumstance.

the group gave him a weird look and zara just rolled
her eyes and turned away. "she can ask a fucking
question you don't gotta be a douche bout it." mattia
added.

a couple of intimidating looks were swapped between
the two boys. rosa sighed and tried to lighten the mood.
"i know i don't do drugs as much as you all do but,
doesn't being mean ruin your trip? can we all just
forget about it and have fun please," she pouted.

carmela smiled and nodded in agreement. "what bebe said." she referred to rosa. "vinnie you don't need to get defensive just chill alright?" vinnie nodded and rubbed zara's leg from where he was sitting in front of her, sincerely.

avani zoned off staring at the wall. "yea so i totally
think we should go, it'd be fun." she said with no
excitement. not that she was being sarcastic but she
wasn't present.

"you just wanna see alejandro," zara laughed. avani
broke her concentration to the wall and blushed. she threw a pillow at zara and giggled. "yea so what?"
the rest of the group laughed as well.

troy looked away, as he had a small crush on avani. ever
since they were fifteen but avani didn't see him in that way nor did she believe whenever the girls would tell
her that he liked her.
