Chapter 9

You know how it is when you get so ready and so brave when your about to tell your crush something really important, but when you are talking to him you have no fucking clue what to do?

Yeah. That's how I feel right now. I look like a fish out of the water since I can't get any words out of my mouth. I didn't know it was this hard.

"Well since Skelly is being an ass, she wanted to-"

"Tell you that she's not interested." I interrupted Alex. Her jaw dropped. Liam gave me a really weird look. Ed just looked at the ground awkwardly and I just looked around awkwardly.

"WHAT THE FUCK?" Alex yelled after a few minutes of silence.

"Well this is awkward..." Ed muttered, still staring at the ground.

"WE JUST DISCUSSED THIS SKELLY JAMES PARKER! NOW YOU ASK HIM THE HELL OUT AND HE WILL SAY FUCKING YES AND YOU TWO WILL GO THE FUCK OUT!" I think Alex is a little mad...

"No Alex. Look Ed, I can see that your interested in me. Clearly by what you said before. I just don't think that we should be more than friends. Is that okay?" I said finally. Alex looked as if she was about to strangle me.

"Of course. Friends?"

"Yeah." I smiled, giving him a small hug before he left.

"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?" Alex screamed when he left the room. "YOU JUST TOLD US HOW MUCH YOU FUCKING LIKE HIM AND THEN YOU REJECT HIM?! WHAT THE HELL?" 

"Alex, calm down. I'm sure she has a very good reason for it." Liam said.

"IF ITS SOMETHING ABOUT LOUIS I WILL KICK YOUR-"

"Did I hear my name?" Oh fuck.

"Um...No?" Alex squeaked, frozen.

"I'm pretty sure I did. If whats about me?" Louis asked, looking at Alex.

"If...Um...The suprise birthday party is for you!"

"My birthday was a month ago."

"Never too early to plan!" She said, faking a smile. Were screwed.

"Seriously, whats going on?" He asked, getting annoyed.

"Skelly turned down Ed and Alex asked if it was because of you." Liam said, smiling innocently. Me and Alex gave him the same 'what the fuck' look.

"...What?" Liam muttered, seeing the looks we were giving him.

"Well so much for lying..."

"What do mean you turned down Ed?" Louis asked me. Well fuck, now I have to explain again.

"I just don't think me and him should date."

"YOU LITTLE LIAR! I KNOW THERES ANOTHER FUCKING REASON AND I WOULD OF KNOWN IF YOU DIDN'T COME IN HERE!" Alex yelled at both me and Louis.

"Just say it Skel." Liam said.

"Come on." Louis said.

"BITCH JUST FUCKING TELL US!" Well aren't you sweet Alex?

"You and you. Get out." I pointed at Alex and Louis.

"BUT I'M YOUR BEST FRIEND!"

"And I don't trust you right now. NOW GET OUT!" I yelled, pushing them out.

"Skel, what happened?" Liam asked.

"She was right." I mumbled.

"So it was about Louis?" He brought his voice to a whisper. I nodded.

"Thought so. Are you gonna tell Alex-"

"Are you insane? If I tell her, everybody is going to know. First person being him." I said. "What the hell am I gonna do?"

"First of all, tell Louis."

"Hell to the no." 

"You have to."

"Oh, so you want me to die? Nice Payne. Nice."

"Your asking Louis out. That's final."

"Oh no she's not." When the hell did he get there?

"...Simon? How did you get in here?" I asked. He pointed to a door behind him. I didn't see that door before. I seriously need to get some glasses...

"Like I said, your not asking out Louis."

"Why not? Your not in charge of me Simon."

"Actually, I am. If you and Louis start dating, both of your images will be dead." I smell bullshit. "It would destroy alot of girls hearts and make alot of girls hate you, which I don't want. I want your image to stay as it is. As a rebel-"

"My image is as a rebel? Nice." I interrupted, getting a nudge from Liam to shut the hell up.

"If you were to go out with Ed, it would be different. His image is much different than Louis's, and much more compatible with yours. So you are not allowed to date Louis as long as your under the contract."

"So pretty much what your saying is that your in charge of my career, and my love life? Not cool. You can't tell me who I can and can't date!"

"Actually, I can. Now if you'll excuse me, i'm late for a meeting..." He said, making his way out. What the hell does images have to do with dating anyways? There's no way thats why I can't date him.

"...So now what?" Liam said.

"Didn't he say I have a 'rebel' image?" I asked. Liam nodded. "Then shouldn't we keep it that way?"

"What are you talking about?" He asked, confused. "Wait...You wouldn't..."

"Watch me Payne."

Again, YOU DIDN'T EXPECT HER TO DO THAT DID YOU? Yup, she turned down Ed! Even after gushing over him so much, she did that. This is getting interesting.
