Falling in Love For The Holiday's

chapter one

Lexi's POV ( flashback )
              I could hear the yells coming from there bedroom I grabbed Chloe and held her against me her softly crying. "How could you tom?! I thought you loved me! And I thought you loved Chloe and Lexi and Dylan! How could you treat us like this? Were lucky if they aren't trembling in there bed!" I heard mother yell. We heard a loud smack and my dad came stomping in.

"What do you want you sick bastard." I said my voice wavering. He stalked over grabbed my hair and dragged me out of the room I let out a pericing scream. He kicked me in the face making me hit my head. I saw Chloe on the phone with our brother Dylan. Chloe is only 4 so I hope he could understand her through her tears.

" Your a filthy slut just like your mother." My father said then backhanded me. "You were the one who cheated on her." I mumbled through blood trickling from my mouth. "Don't you dare talk back to me you filthy whore!" He yelled kicking my ribs and punching me mercilessly. The last thing I saw was Dylan running through the front door and I was whisked into the darkness.

I woke up to see Dylan running with me in his arms to a near hospital and Chloe trying hard to keep up. "It hurts Dylan, I don't know if I can stay awake any longer." I whispered hoarsely tears running domy face. He kissed my forehead "I am so sorry Lex I wish I was there to help you and make sure that he doesn't hurt you." He said with a sympathetic look as we bursted through the hospital doors.

End of flash back.

          That was a month ago. I still can't can't believe that monster calls me his daughter. I was going to walk forward and ran into someone. I looked up and saw a young man he was well built and he had pirecing green forest eyes. He had brown hair chisled features and he was buff.

"I-m sorry,-" I stuttered before he cut me off. "Its okay I didn't mean to get in your way. You wanna go out for a swim some time?" He asked with a questioning look in his piercing green forest eyes. He swept a piece of hair out my face and I blushed a light pink.

"Sure I would love to, tommorow around 12?" I asked feeling nervous. He nodded his head eagerly, then caught himself. "Yes I would love that." He bowed his head and then walked out with a smile on his face.

"Lex? Who was that?" Dylan asked. Oh crap! I didn't ask his name all he did was slip his number into my pocket. I held up my finger at him took the phone number out of my pocket got out my LG G3 phone and typed in his number and pressed call.

The person picked up on the 2nd ring. "Hello?" I heard the familiar voice. "Hey it's me I never got your name." I heard him chuckle. "Nathan  and I never got yours either." I laughed "My name is Lexi but you can call me Lex for short okay?" I smiled wide Dylan looked at me with a look of uncertainty. "Wanna go to dinner tonight Lex?" He asked I blushed when he called me Lex.

"Sure I would love to." I said feeling hope settle into me. "Okay see you at 8!" He said.

I hung up and Dylan looked infuriated at me. "Who was that?" He grounded out his jaw clenched. I flinched and he realized what he had done. "That was a person named Will who wants to get to know me he asked me if I wanted to go to dinner." I said sternly knowing I have to go to my fathers hoping that Dylan will pick me up before 8:00.

"You have to go to fathers which I'd rather you not I will pick you up from his house at 6:00. I handed him the number " call him if something bad happens." I said knowing he doesn't like to hear that but it is the truth.

At Lexi's fathers house
                 I walked in the door and my phone fell out of my pocket and hit the floor. My dad rushed over and picked up the phone. "I bought you this piece of shit and you throw it around like some toy?!" He kicked my stomach.

'Bing'   my text message ringer goes off. It is from Nathan.

I saw it from the ground. Hey we still on for tonight? -N. My father looked incredibly pissed off. "Why do you have a boy friend can you answer me that? Why! You gonna be a whore like your mother?" He yelled and yanked my hair as he slapped me across the face "Don't talk like mother like that!!" I yelled. What happened to  my sweet adoring caring father? Where did he go? Or was he just an fragment of my imagination?

I finally worked up the strength to grab my phone out of his hand and texted Dylan and said dyl help text Will and tell him and help his is beating me!!

He replied okay I will do it now I am on my way hang on!

I replied thanks I love you Dylan.

I was barely holding on when Dylan and Will burst through the doors.
Nathan POV

          When we walked into the door I saw Lex on the floor looked like she was beaten bloody.  Dylan ran over pucnched his father in the father and his father fell down to the ground knocked out cold.

I walked Lex and picked her up in my arms. "I think we are gonna have reschedule our date for tommorow." I said a coy smile playing around my lips.

She coughed and turned into a gurgle. She smiled I saw them pale crystal eyes look up into my eyes. They were full of adoration.

The next day Lexi's POV
                    I was seated at a table with Nathanand

Apparently he was in the army. I told him about me. I felt myself falling in love with him more and more by the minute.
