Chapter 8: Science Camp, Part Three

ELLIE'S P.O.V.-

After taking Chloe away from her precious boyfriend, we went to go sign in with Miss Periwinkle. After signing in I let Chloe go find her precious boyfriend. We had an hour to roam the camp. Since we weren't allowed to have our phones or any electronics really, I listened to the birds. I walked through a huge open field and strangely no one else was here, I mean how could you miss it? 

"Beautiful, isn't it?" I heard a voice say.

"Yeah." I agreed. I turned around and saw Jake. Even though I don't want to admit it to anyone, not even Chloe, I have a little crush on him. I mean come on, do you know see the way his hair flows in the wind, and how his blue eyes sparkles in the sunlight. It's just gorgeous.

"Hello! Earth to Elizabeth!" he shouted and snapped his fingers in my face.

"Please, Jake, call me Ellie."

"I'll start calling Ellie, when you agree to go out with me." He replied. I stared at him in shock. Is he seriously asking me out?

"Are you serious?" I asked.

"Yes, Elizabeth, I have feelings for you. I've liked you since the beginning of the year, even when you kicked me." He admitted, blushing slightly.

"Awe! You're blushing!" I cooed.

"Shut it, so would you like to be my girlfriend?" He asked. I had been secretly waiting for this moment for a while now.

"Yes." I mumbled.

"What? Sorry, I couldn't hear you." He smirked.

"Yes, I will be your girlfriend." I said, smiling at him. 

He walked towards me grinning. "I knew you'd say yes." He whispered in my ear, as he hugged me.

"Jerk." I mumbled as I hugged him back.

He pulled back from the hug and looked into my eyes. He started to lean in and our lips were a few millimeters away from touching, when someone cleared their throat, loudly.

"What is going on here?" they said.

I turned around only to see my worst nightmare, my two eldest brothers. Wyatt and Collin.

"So, what were you guys doing here, alone?" Collin asked, clearly pissed off.

"Nothing, let's go Jake." I said and pulled Jake's arm and started to walk away.

"Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. Slow down there, where do you think you two are going?" Wyatt asked.

"We're going to go find Chloe and his friends." I replied.

"You stay, he leaves." Wyatt commanded.

"But-"

"No buts, now Jake, Shoo." Collin interrupted. Jake started to go back to everyone else while I stayed here, awaiting the lecture.

"So, Ellie, what were you doing out here, alone with that boy?" Wyatt pressed.

"Actually, I came here by myself and then he followed me, so I don't see a problem." I smirked.

"But you guys looked awful close, we aren't stupid we know what you two were going to do, thanks to us we came just in time to stop it." said Collin.

"It's none of your guys' business what I was going to do or not do with Jake. He's my boyfriend I think  I should be allowed to hang out with him." I replied. They jerked their heads towards me. Oh, damn it. I spoke before thinking.

"He's your what?" They shouted at me.

"He's my BOYFRIEND." 

"We didn't approve of this." Collin stated,

"Well, too bad.' I replied, and walked off.

That was the last time I talked to them in a week; I was just mad that they tried to control my life. I was going to apologize, but whenever I would try to go up to them they would ignore me and walk off somewhere else. 

Again, I tried walking up to Collin, but he just ignored me. So, I walked off as well and ended up deep into the forest by the camp. I didn't care if it rained, or if everyone would go home without me, seeming as they clearly don't care about me. I sat down below a huge oak tree and brought my knees p to my chin. I wrapped my arms around my legs and cried my heart out. No one cares about my whereabouts. They probably don't even notice I'm gone. I stared at the ground and that was the last thing I remember before everything blacked out.

CHLOE'S P.O.V.-

"Hey, have you guys seen Ellie?" I asked her brothers.

"No, why?" Adam asked.

"I haven't seen her since Lunch." Harry added.

"Well, I haven't seen her all day and i'm getting worried." I said, fighting back tears.

"Why don't we ask her group leader." Dylan suggested.

"Yeah, okay." We agreed.

We went to go find Martha, her group leader, and see if she knows about Ellie's whereabouts.

"Hey Martha, have you seen Ellie?" Harry asked.

"No, she wasn't here for role call, I thought she was with one of you guys." Martha said.

"Excuse me." Someone said.

"Cara, Stephanie?" I asked.

"Yes, it's us." They chuckled. I only knew who they were because they were my boyfriend's younger sisters.

"How may we help you?" Dylan asked.

"I saw Ellie running into the forest." Cara stated.

"Oh my god, what if something happened to her?" I asked getting extremely worried.

"It's okay, let's just go look for her." Adam said.

"Well, let's go find her then!" I shouted and started heading for the forest.
