Twilight Poems-Why?

I wrote this poem after reading 'New Moon' by Stephenie Meyer.

Why?

I see you everyday,

You dominate my every thought

Yet I always catch my breath

When I see your flawless face

Then you smile

And I can't help but do the same

And wonder what you're thinking

Every time you say my name

I ask myself why,

You keep coming back.

You have more choices

And yet you choose me...

What could I possibly have that holds you,

To me

The words "I love you"

Are not understood

By the heart that beats

Because of the frozen one of yours

If you choose to leave me

I would have believed

Because it doesn't make sense

for you to love me.
