Yoongi’s P.O.V.
As the school bell rang throughout the busy high school, Jimin, Hoseok, and I sat at our usual lunch table. At first, the bright cafeteria was barely crowded, but as the minutes flew by, more and more people came to fill the lunchroom. At our small lunch table, Jimin, who sat next to me stared at the cafeteria door while Hoseok, who sat across from me and Jimin, and I casually chatted about Hoseok’s girlfriend again (I wasn’t interested). Yet that was interrupted by one Park Jimin.
“I wish he would come around that corner right now. I’ll show him how we take care of dumbasses in Busan.” Jimin growled, causing me to roll my eyes to the back of my head. The younger anxiously tapped the fake wood of the lunch table as he stared more intensely. I assumed he was looking for the brunet, Jeon Jungkook.
“But he’s from Busan, too,” Hoseok corrected with a sneaky smirk.
Jimin huffed through his nose, “Shut up, you’re not helping, Hoseok-Hyung!”
“Calm your ass down, Jimin,” I commanded, adding my famous death glare to intimidate him, “That petty shit happened yesterday, leave it in the past. I’m sure Jeon hasn’t thought about it at all since it happened, so why should you let it bother you?” I lectured with a strict attitude.
Jimin relaxed with a sigh, leaning his head on the lunch table, “I’m sorry hyungs, just I got in trouble with my parents cuz my jacket is ruined now. And it was a gift from my mom for my birthday, too.” He whimpered, puffing out his plump lips.
“Well if that’s the case,” Hoseok commented, looking around the cafeteria for Jungkook as well, sporting a look that said he would fight him.
I sighed, “Violence doesn’t solve everything. What if we just save up some money so we can dry clean your jacket?” I suggested, awkwardly rubbing Jimin’s back so he’ll stop feeling sad.
“Okayyyyyy,” Jimin yawned, rubbing his eyes and sitting up straight. Yet a frown was still plaster on his face.
“JIMINIE~!”
Hoseok, Jimin, and I turned to the direction of the voice. In front of us was a relatively taller boy with rose colored hair carrying a lunch tray. I believe he was Jin, Jungkook’s friend. Without any invitation, he slammed his lunch tray next to Jimin and took the seat next to him. Before anyone could blink, he was hugging Jimin protectively.
“Now which one of you hurt poor baby Jimin-Ah?” He glared at Hoseok and I as if we were the devil. Hoseok and I traded looks of confusion to each other before looking back at the pair in front of us.
Jimin pouted, pushing Jin off of him, “I’m fine, Hyung. They didn’t do anything,” he clarified, “Just kinda pissed at a dick, y’know, the usual. ”
“Aww, do you mean Jungkookie-Ah? I’m sorry about what happened yesterday.” Jin apologized, sympathy evident on his face.
Jimin shook his head humbly, “No, no, it’s fine, you had nothing to do with it, Hyung.” He replied, forgetting about Hoseok and I.
As the two of them talked, Hoseok whispered, “How long do you think it’ll take for him to remember us? I’m betting on two minutes.”
I scoffed at his bet, “Bro, I say two hours,” I chuckled as we observed the conversation again.
“Well to be fair, poor Jungkook is going through a bit of a phrase,” Jin sighed as if he was a troubled parent.
Jimin rolled his eyes, “Must be on his first period or some shit since the beginning of the school year.”
