Claire's POV
"Hi my name is Claire James I have long brown hair and green eyes they have a little blue in them. I'm 18 years old and I live in colarodo were it's alwase sunny I live with my mom and grandmother." ( moms mom) I walked down stairs in r big house from my room to find my nana on the couch sleeping and snoring it sounded like a chain saw mixed with a lawn mower that means she's in a deep sleep I tryed to wake her the nice way " nana time to wake up." I said rubbing her arm she still snores " nana wake up" I yelled she got louder " ok I know one thing to wake u up HEY NANA ITS ROB PATTERSON!!" I yelled like a flash nana was awake " where is he where" she said I giggled " sorry nana he isn't here u were sleeping again and I had to wake u, u were very loud " I told my now very upset looking grandmother
" I'm sorry sweet heart." nana said " it's ok nana your awake now I giggled " "Claire can u come in here please" my mothers voice chimed " sure mom I yelled she was in the kitchen cooking I walked into r kitchen and smelled my favorite food cheese sticks with ranch dressing. My mom looked at me from the stove she looks a lot like me people say I can be her mini her " what's up mom" I asked her " Come sit with me in the living room with your grandmother Claire " she said ..O..k we went into the living room and sat on the sofa " ok dear umm do u remember your father jacob" my mom asked I haven't seen my dad for about 3 years he lives in Chicago " umm I think so a little bit..Y.." I asked "we'll I talked to him today and we decided that maybe u can move up there and stay with him and go to school there meet new peopl- I cut her off " but mom I can't leave u and nana and I like it here" I said to my mom " honey he really wants to be with u and have u around he hasn't seen for a very long time, u may love it in Chicago u can visit anytime he lives on his own he needs takeing care of Claire. " My mother spoke and she was right my dad does need help and I haven't seen him in a long time and I miss him a little and I may even love it there once I get used to the cold anyway " alright I'll go." I said "ok I'll tell your father let me to call him" mom said then she went into the kitchen I looked at nana " I'm going to miss u nana " I hugged her " I'll miss u to baby girl" nana said hugging me back and kissing my cheek my came back in the room. "ok Claire your dad is comeing to get u in 3 weeks ok" my mom said " alright " I said
3 weeks later
I had everything packed I already said goodbye to mom and nana then my dad pulled up "bye mom bye nana" I said one more time I walked to my dad's car I'm very nervous. I got in after I put my things in the back seat. I climbed into my dad's jeep " ..h..hi dad how have u been" I asked my dad who was starting to drive out of the drive way " hi Claire a bell I have been good I'm glad your comeing to stay with me" my dad said I smiled " I'm glad to "I said we drove to a place to get some food it's about a 12 hour drive from Colorado to Chicago ( idk how long it really would take I'm just saying a number of hours I think 12 is long enough) we walked I and ordered r food then ate " so." my dad spoke" I think u will really love your school." He said "I hope so dad" I said he smiled "we'll we better get back on the road!" he said "ok I'm going to go use the restroom first ok." "alight Claire
A bell I'll go wait in the car for u." my dad said then walked out of the dianer and got into his car. I went to the ladies room and looked at my reflection I looked ok I walked out of the bathroom then to my dad's car then we drove off (5 hours later) " hey Claire do u need to go to the bathroom we can stop up here at this place and us the bathroom if u need to" dad said. "sure dad." i said so we stopped and used the bathroom then got something to eat again it was super good...
