Ram was rather beaten up from that fight he had with Bohn. He knew Bohn had experience but he had no idea he was actually decent at it. After everyone left the area, Ram shooed his friends to go and untie Duen and see if he needed anything. The poor boy had been tied to a tree for quite a while by then.

He was sure everyone had left and Ram sat on a bench, took out a tissue from his bag, and tried to wipe the blood he felt on the corner of his lips. It burned quite a big but he was used to it.

"You're quite a mess, cool boy." If Ram would not recognize the voice, he would recognize that nickname. In truth, he would be annoyed by it, but somehow it is growing on him, or maybe King was growing on him.
He was quite surprised to see that King was there, he was sure no one was around when he checked.
King sat in front of him and grabbed the tissue from Ram's hand, "give here," he mumbled and from a plastic bag, he took out some medical supplies.

Ram looked at the bag confused because he had no idea where King would have got that. However, his confusion was cut short when he felt an even stronger burn on his lip and he groaned softly, moving his head back in surprise.

"Hey!" King complained, "If you don't want it to hurt you should not have challenged someone to a fight." He pressed the cotton back on Ram's cut, gently this time and even though it hurt, the younger male did not move away.
"I saw you did not go to the hospital after the fight and I figured you might need these. I'm not a doctor, but this much I can do."

More often than not, King surprised Ram because it felt that he was able to read his mind. Was he that open to him?

King went on, cleaning all the wounds the younger had on his face and jaw, however, not once looking into Ram's eyes. Ram, on the other hand, kept staring at the shorter's face and only when King moved away did he realize that he was staring.

It went on like that, silence with only a few groans of pain occasionally from Ram. They both avoided eye contact and Ram was trying hard to not even look at the male in front of him. A long breath was released from King and he moved away, collecting all the dirty cotton buds and getting up to go throw them away. The younger helped clean up the tube of medicine that King was applying to him and collected everything back in the bag.

"Here," Ram was confused as to why King was handing him a shirt until he realized that it was his own shirt and he had been without it the whole time! He quickly grabbed it from King's hand and put it on. Then he started to wonder as to whether that is the reason why his senior looked embarrassed the whole time.

In order to try to avoid the awkwardness, Ram handed the bag to King but the older shook his head, "I don't need it. You can keep it and apply again tomorrow. I bet you'll be having bruises for a while."
Ram bowed his head and held the bag tightly in his hand.
"And stop going around inviting fights. You got me all worried there," he bluntly admitted, only to realize that second that he admitted to being worried about Ram.

Ram's eyes widened hearing that. He took out his phone and quickly typed a message. King took out his phone before the message even arrived because he figured that Ram was sending him something.
'You were worried about me?'
King coughed, hoping to hide his embarrassment with it, "o-of course I'd be worried," he stuttered, "you're my junior." The older hoped that it was a good enough reason to shut Ram up and avoid more questions.
And it did. Ram nodded, rather confused about why his heartfelt let down through that confession and he put his phone back in his pocket. He stood up and looked King in the eye. The shorter's eyes widened for a moment because he had no idea what to expect from him.

"Thank you." He said is so softly, but so firm that it surprised King. They kept looking at each other's eyes until King stepped away.
"You're welcome. Take care," and the older quickly vanished from Ram's sight.

The following morning Ram was sitting with his friends, as usual, waiting for class to start. It was rather quiet but Ram assumed that it was because of the fight that happened the day before.
Ting coughed, getting everyone's attention, and when she did, she spoke, "I think we need to plan another test soon," she said in a teasing tone.

At first, Ram looked around wondering who she was talking about until he realized that all of them were looking at him and he just turned to look at them confused and puzzled with that statement.
