6:30 A.M. Ottawa, CanadaBridgette's POV
I woke up to my alarm clock. I hit it, turning it off and then got up to get ready for my first day. My family had just moved to Canada from Los Angeles, California and things were extremely different. It's the first of October and it was already around forty degrees outside, as for Los Angeles it would be around eighty. After I took a shower, I got dressed and walked out of my room.My mother and father were both in the kitchen, as my older sister Tiffany was texting someone on her phone. I sat down and my mother put a plate of food down in the front of me.
"Thanks mom" I said and she smiled at me.
"So Bridge, I was looking up beaches and I found some in Vancouver, maybe some time you can go surfing again. Or maybe you can become a hockey fan and date a hockey player." My father said I looked a him.
"Like you would even like Bridgette look at another guy." My mother said and he laughed.
"Isn't Vancouver like across the country?" I asked looking at him and he nodded.
I gave him a look and Tiffany groaned and flopped back on the couch. Soon my father left after kissing my cheek, and kissing my mother. I had no idea what his new job was, but it's the reason we're in Canada. My mother watched him as if he was never coming back. I just guessed my mother really loved my father.
"Mom can you please may for out of country calling. I have friends back in the US you know." Tiffany whined and I stopped listening to that conversation.
Tiffany's nineteen and should be a freshman in college, right now...but she's taking a "gap year", and is still living with us. I just turned seventeen and I'm junior in high school, where I should be now.
"I'm gonna go." I said getting up.
"Watch out, I heard the mafia is in this town." Tiffany said and my mother gave her a look. "Dad should know, because he works for the mob boss now." She added while texting in her phone.
"No he doesn't Tiffany, and have a good day at school Bridge." My mother said and I smiled a bit.
I had no idea if Tiffany was kidding or not, she didn't make it seem it she was. Then again the way my mother watched my father leave the house this morning, how fast my father found a job, along with the fact our new house is huge. My father says it's because both him and my mother grew up here and he's just working sigh old friends. I didn't fully know, but I might do some research on crime in this town later. I finished my breakfast, grabbed my bag, and then walked outside to my dad's Jeep. I grabbed his keys and started the car. My mother texted me the address and I tapped it and then started driving to my new high school.
7:10 A.M. Ottawa, CanadaGeoff's POV
I was sitting on one of the picnic tables with Heather HBIC of our school, Alejandro her boyfriend/a total womanizer, Lindsay a random dumb hot chick, Tyler our school's quarterback, Courtney our junior student council president, Dakota's our towns mayor's daughter, Anne Marie the Jersey Shore reject, and then Trent the cool musician that all the girls gawk over. I'm Geoff our school's party thrower."I'm supposed to be showing a girl around school." Courtney said looking at the time.
"Oh my god Courtney, if you want to make out your ex boyfriend just say it, we don't need these lame ass excuses." Heather said and Courtney looked at her.
