Chapter 4

A few weeks later

"Good morning Yeonjun hyung."Soobin greet while Yeonjun simply smile at him.The maknae line is sitting next to them while looking at Huening Kai phone,not paying attention to both of them.

"Are you alright? You don't look good."Soobin ask.Yeonjun shook his head with a smile."I'm okay.Just...Don't have a good night."Soobin nodded unsurely.

Yeonjun has been acting strange for the past few weeks.He keeps zoning out and his eyes seems...Lifeless and dull.The others didn't notice but Soobin did.

Soobin sigh,adjusting his bag on his shoulders as the train arrived at the station.

"Let's go guys."Everyone stood up and walk towards the train door.Luckily,they found a seat so they immediately took the opportunity.Yeonjun sit there silently which is very unusual.

Soobin sigh and lean against the seat,pulling out his earphone.

"You'll come back late today hyung?"Huening Kai turn to Yeonjun."Ah,yeah.I have something to do."Huening Kai sigh in disappointment but stay silent right after.

Soobin also sigh at the answer while Yeonjun simply chuckled at him.

"Sorry."The younger frown.

"That's it."Yeonjun tilted his head.

"I'm staying at school with you today."The older widen his eyes.

"Wait Soo-"

"Nope.No objection."Yeonjun keep convincing him but after a few tries (and a death glare from the brown hair boy)He gave up and pout.

"Oh,mom and dad is fighting."Before both of them could say anything to the snickering Taehyun,the train come to a stop.

All of them got out of the train and began walking towards their school as usual.

"See you later."Yeonjun smile and left to go to his classroom.

Soobin wave at the others before looking at Yeonjun,still walking towards his classroom.

The rest of the day went by normally.Time passes and eventually,everyone except Yeonjun and Soobin went home.

"You really mean it when you said you wanted to stay behind with me huh?"Yeonjun laugh while washing his hands.

Soobin shrugged at his question.

"I did what I said."Yeonjun laugh again and turn off the tap."I didn't expect you to follow me to the bathroom as well though..."Yeonjun said,calming himself down from laughing to much.

"Let's just go home."

"Yeah,yeah.Let's go."Both of them walk out of the restroom and notice that the hallway is pitch black.

"Huh? Why is it so dark?"Soobin ask while Yeonjun stood there,feeling a little bit suspicious.

"Soobin-ah,we should go.Maybe the light stop working or something."Yeonjun said,dragging him towards the exit.

"O-okay then."Soobin said,feeling slightly scared for some reason.

After walking for a few minutes,Soobin suddenly felt suspicious and more scares than before.

"H-Hyung...I feel like We...Are not going forward at all...Don't you?"Yeonjun stay silent for a bit before sighing.

"Hyung-"Before he could finish the sentence,Yeonjun suddenly started to run,dragging Soobin along.

"Hyung?! What's wrong?!"Soobin ask,confused and scared.Yeonjun did not reply as he continued dragging the boy behind him.

After a while,they arrived in front of the school exit and both of them stop running,gasping for air before Yeonjun sigh again.

"Sorry Soobin-ah.I didn't mean to drag you like that.Did I hurt you?"He ask worriedly while Soobin simply shook his head,too exhausted to talk.

Yeonjun sigh in relief.

"...L-let's go."Yeonjun said,pointing towards the exit and Soobin nodded at him.

Both of them exit the school and walk towards the station,silently.

When both of them arrived at the station,Soobin nervously scratch the back of his head.

"Did...We miss the train?"Yeonjun chuckled emotionlessly at his question."Don't worry Soobin.It will arrived soon."He reassured the younger.

Soobin jolted slightly when his eyes landed on the older dull and lifeless eyes.

"...Soobin-ah."Yeonjun called.

"Yeah?"He replied,confused.

"If I did something stupid to protect everyone,will you forgive me?"Yeonjun ask,avoiding the younger eyes.

"What?"Soobin ask,taken aback by the older question.Yeonjun stay silent for a bit,his dull eyes looking at the other side of the empty train station.

"Will you?"Yeonjun ask again,this time looking towards Soobin right in the eyes.

"...Yeah.I'll forgive you hyung."Yeonjun smile and sigh in relief at the younger answer.For a moment,Soobin could see a sign of hope in his eyes.

Suddenly,both of them heard the sound of the train approaching the station.

"That's great Soobin."Yeonjun said,as the train began to stop in front of them.

As soon as the door open,Yeonjun push the younger into the train,making him fall face first into the train.

"Ow! Hyung what are you-"

"See you later Soobin-ah."He smile sadly,tears pooling in the corner of his eyes.

"Hyung?"Soobin ask,standing back up before noticing something.

The train is completely empty and the darkness of the night is darker than it supposed to be.

"Hyung? What's happening?"Yeonjun doesn't reply.

"Hyung!"Soobin scream,trying to exit the train but it was too late.

Just as he was about to exit the train,the door close and the train started to move while he continue banging on the door.

"Hyung! Yeonjun-hyung!"He scream.

Yeonjun stood there silently until the train leave the station before laughing dejectedly.

"You said you would forgive me...Soobin."
