The Losers
Eddie's House
————
We're at Eddie's house getting food to go to the Barrens. "Take everything but the Delicious Deals, guys—my mom loves 'em," Eddie says as Richie and Bill look in the cupboards for snacks. "Hey! First you said the Barrens, and now you're saying the sewer. I mean, what if we get caught?" Eddie asks, leaning against the sink."We won't Eds," Billy replies, Richie going over to another cupboard. "T-The sewers are public works. We're the public, aren't we?"
"Hey Eddie, these your birth control pills?" Richie, asks after he opened another cupboard. I roll my eyes at Richie's accusation.
"Yeah, and I'm saving it for your sister. This is private stuff." I silently laugh, trying to not laugh any louder due to me technically not being allowed in Eddie's house.
We all walk out of the kitchen, me hiding behind the boys so I don't get seen by his mother. Sonia was never really fond of me hanging out with his son.
"Eddie Bear, where are you boys off to in such a rush?" Sonia asks from her chair in the living room, painting her nails.
"Um..j-j-just my uh—my backyard Mrs. K. I got a new..." Bill didn't know what to say, I think Sonia's bitter looks at him threw him off a bit.
"A new croquet set. Jeez, spit it out, B-B-Bill!" Richie saved us.
"Okay." Sonia says casually. "Oh, and sweetie, don't go rolling around on the grass. Especially if its just been cut. You know how bad your allergies can get."
The boys all look at Sonia and start to leave, as Eddie says, "Yes, mom—lets go." But we all knew it was too good to be true. Sonia stopped the boys once again.
"Aren't you forgetting something?" Sonia asks, and Eddie sighs. He walks over to Sonia, and gives her a kiss on the cheek, walking back quickly. Richie is holding in his laughter and chuckles slightly.
"Do you want one from me too, Mrs. K?" Richie asks, once Eddie got over to them. Eddie starts pushing Richie out and Richie says, "I was kidding!"
"No—No—No." Eddie says as he's pushing them out the door. Sonia chuckles slightly. As Eddie closes the door he says, "Sorry, mommy," and finally we're out of there.

Ben
The Library
———
Ben, being the new kid, had no friends—so he was stuck at the library in summer. Although, he was writing a little note to a certain redhead.'Your hair is winter fire /January embers / my heart burns there too.'
Ben can hear shouting from outside—he looks to see five kids on their bikes. All boys except the one girl thats there too.
He suddenly hears a loud slam to the left of him, startling him a bit. He looks to see a librarian, "Found it. Isn't it summer vacation?" She asked him. "I would think you'd be ready to take a break from the books."
