"Do you want to eat the cake and watch a movie on Netflix or something?" I ask. "Your lips are sweeter than any cake." He murmurs, with no intentions of me hearing. "Sure." He says immediately after. I laugh a little to myself. Colby shoots his head up, blushing because he realizes I heard him. I grab the remote and turn on Netflix and just put on a movie called code eight. "Oh waite." I say before pressing play. I hand Colby the remote, then go to my room and grab a big blanket. I walk back out and he presses play. We both snuggle up into the blanket and begin to watch the movie. Eventually we just close the box of cake and just lay down and watch the rest of the movie. At some point Colby's arm wrapped around me and I was snuggled into him. We ended up just falling asleep like that. I woke up later that night, while Colby was still asleep. It was probably like two in the morning, of course Tara hadn't come home yet. I knew she wouldn't tonight. I was still in Colby's arms and I don't really know, it felt so natural and comforting. It was like I felt secure in this new place of mine. Well he's not mine. Why did it hurt me so much to think of him with anyone, but me. This is actually getting kind of weird. Colby soon wakes up and looks down on me. He smiles, a smile that lights up my world. I smile no ones ever given me before. I lean up and kiss him. I don't know why. I can't help it, but he kisses me back. I turn over creating a better position for myself never breaking the kiss. His arms tighten around me. The door swings open. "Hey bitch!" I hear Tara laugh as she walks in. It scares us both and we tumble onto the phone. "Woahhh. What did I walk into." "Umm... Nothing." I say getting up from the ground. "Wow it's only been one day and you guys are already making out. That was fast." She laughs. "We weren't making out. He um had something on his lips, but if he didn't we were jist kissing, not making out." I laugh at my own words, knowing it probably would of led to making out if she hadn't walked in. "I should go." Colby says, while running his fingers through his hair. That must be habits of his or something. "I'll walk you down." I say. As we walk out I hear Tara say "Don't go making out again." I pop my head back inside and flip her off before closing the door. "I love you too." I hear her yell. One day were gonna get kicked out from all the shouting she does, but I love her. I catch up to Colby whose waiting for me. We walk further down the hall to the elevator and waite. "To bad Tara came in." Colby says, making me choke on my own spit. I begin to cough and laugh at the same, time and still act okay. "Yeah." I laugh, once I finally catch my breath. The elevator doors open and we both step in. "I really did have gun with you." He says. "Yeah me too." I agree truthfully. "Maybe we can go on another date sometime. One that doesn't start because some guy decided to be a dick at the bar." He laughs kind of nervously. "Yeah that sounds great." I smile. "Does that mean this was our first date?" I ask. "Yeah I guess. It ended in a kiss, didn't it." I mean he's kind of right. "I guess so then. Well it's definitely a first date I'll never forget." I laugh. "Hopefully it'll be your last first date" he murmurs. The elevator door opens and we both walk out. I don't think he knows I heard him. We walk to his car and stop when we get to the door. We just look at each other for a moment, before I decide to say something. "I really hope it's my last first date too. There's something about you Brock." "When did I tell you my last name?" He asks surprised at my words. "Nick told me. He told me a few things about you." I laugh.  "Of course he did he says." He says laughing.
