Something about words is just captivating. One word can have two completely opposite meanings. One word can hold a million emotions, or none at all. I've found them to be inspiring, relieving, and frustrating. To find words that hold so much power is awe-inspiring. Jotting down one's thoughts so that the paper can share some of the burden's of your mind and finding that, somehow, it does help carry so much of that weight is so incredible. Or when you are overwhelmed with ideas, thoughts, and emotions and no word or amount of words is able to convey all that you feel. One word can bring you immense joy. One word can bring overwhelming sorry. And what about all the words we don't know. How many forgotten or unknown words do we replace with the repetitive, monotonous speech of today? I wish I could know all the words of the world. What power that would be. Many may not be so fond of the concept, but I can only dream of such a wonderful knowledge. Furthermore, how strange is it that even synonyms that share the same meaning still hold their own uniqueness? Each carries it's own definition in a sentence. Or, perhaps, each bears it's own definition. There's a chance you see no difference in those two statements, but I do. Words are both a fascinating beauty and petrifying destroyer. It all depends on how one wields such a weapon.
