"Everyone listen up! I have a surprise to show you."  Frisk was holding what looked like a... Soul. Suddenly there was a blinding light and when I looked back I saw a familiar face of someone whom I thought I wouldn't see again

Chara PoV-
It was cold and dark in Frisk's mindscape, until a warm comforting light engulfed me calling to me telling me to go and see what Frisk was up to; so I did. I was in my ghost form that only frisk could see. As soon as Frisk held out their hand, I saw it an artificial soul. Is this what Frisk kept telling me to grab when they reach out their arm out to me? Happiness filled me. I was going to be with mother and father and make friends with everyone without it being through Frisk's eyes. My body moved without a moment of hesitation and I grabbed the soul. I open my eyes.
"Chara!"
I cried and cried while being hugged by everyone.
"M-mum, d-dad?!"
Everyone gets interrupted by Frisk.
"Sorry you are going to have to postpone your reunion until we are done you want everyone to be there don't you? I mean it would seem like favouritism if you don't include them." 

 (y/n), sans, Flowey and I were curious, everyone else's seemed confused with the exception of Gaster and Frisk who smiled knowingly.

Flowey's PoV-

Frisk took a few steps towards me.
"F-frisk w-why?"
*It wouldn't be complete without you would it now and didn't you want a soul?!* Frisk smiled as they reached out and gently pushed the artificial soul towards me.
For the first time in a long time I remembered how it truly felt to be happy, I felt a warm liquid spilling from my eyes. 'A-am I c-crying?' I take advantage of this opportunity and grab the soul. I don't know why but I just said
"Mum, dad, I'm home!"

(Y/n) PoV~
While everyone was catching up and questioning what happened, Chara and Azzy were panicking sending glances at Frisk and Gaster begging them for help and struggling. The chatter grew and the simple picnic turned into a family reunion. Their voices fades and I grew tired I don't remember anything after that except the feeling of being submerged in cold water and like i was drowning but I was still able to breathe, a blinding light calls to me and I reach out for it swimming to the surface. I reach out only to open my eyes and sit up next to a tree. I look around everything from our picnic was here and so was everyone else and they awakened quickly.
"Where are we?!"

___time skip___
We agreed to look around and find a place to stay, once we did and we tried to swap our G for some of the currency here but everyone kept asking how we had real gold coins. 'Is gold not a common resource' I wonder. In the end we got a fortune, of course we didn't trade all of our G here, we kept most of it for until we got back home. We rented a nice house for us to live and bought enough food, clothing and other essentials. We split up and tried to get to know our surroundings and Frisk saw something to do with an entrance exam to a hero school, we asked if we can join or at least try and everyone agreed but on one condition we don't reveal from where we are from or tell them about the underground. 'It's kinda stupid, how are we supposed to get help if we can't ask about anything? But then again it can cause problems later.'

A/N: Sorry I didn't upload sooner i was trying to write during the holidays but I wasn't home then school started, fast forward to the current pandemic I'm using my spare time after doing homework to write more chapters and stories. Also sorry if this seems a bit rushed I wanted to write something good but I didn't want to bore you with a long wait between chapters.
I will probably edit the chapter to make it better if you guys feel like it needs to cause I don't think it's my best but maybe a different opinion can clear things up, just say if you find any mistakes or if something doesn't make sense.
