Tom Nook was waiting. He had been waiting for a long time. He had been waiting for that lousy villager to pay off their loan, but they never did. Tom had a feeling that they never would, and so, he opened the door to his basement. "They should have paid their loans." He said in a sing-song voice, unable to hide his excitement.
Unaware of Tom Nooks plans, the villager went on with their day, catching bugs and fish and donating fossils to the museum, they would occasionally bop an ugly villager on the head with their net and then go and see what Timmy and Tommy were selling that day. Everything seemed quiet. Too quiet. But the villager was too stupid to realise that.
Soon, it was night. The villager was soon sleeping, their front door unlocked. Because, as i said, the villager is incredibly stupid.
