Prologue

Being a senior in high school is undoubtably one of the most stressful times in a person'a life. We are expected to make split second decisions that possibly impact the rest of our lives.
Society "encourages" us to further our education, in hopes that we will pursue a career on a path of our choice. In my opinion this is a load of bullshit. Honestly, twenty maybe thirty years down the line I will most definitely end up hating said career (probably earlier). Society is a bitch.
Is it really wrong for me to follow my dreams and ambitions? I just want to live and experience the light that life has to offer.
My mother disagrees with my hopes and wishes upon me to fulfill a life of pointless money making. Money isn't everything. I always say if you are enjoying what you are doing with your life, money should just be the bonus that comes along with those joys.
I want to live. I want to get hurt. I want to laugh. I want to find somebody and I want to fall deeply in love. Because that right there is my definition of life.
