Love With Angels

//with Kakashi and Gai//

"I'm in love with an angel," Kakashi says to Gai

"You know heaven forbids," Gai says back with a slight sadness in his voice

"He made me a believer with the touch of his skin" Kakashi protests.

Naruto walks up to the two Jonin.

"you know I'd go to hell and back with you, right?" the blonde asks, receiving a surprised look from the gray jonin.

'stay lost in what we found'

"Worlds apart we were the same-" Kakashi begins.

"Until you hit the ground!" villagers yell from their homes.

Kakashi starts feeling angry then suddenly.

"Maybe I'm crazy!" 

"Maybe I'm weak!"

"Maybe I'm blinded by what I see!"

Kakashi then turns to face Naruto.

"You wanted a soldier but it wasn't me!" Kakashi yells with sadness.

Naruto looks at Kakashi with tearful eyes

"'Cause I could never set you free!" he yells.

Kakashi looks surprised at the blonde, feeling tears fall.

"So fly on your own" Naruto says with a sad but happy smile.

...........

"It's time I let you go.." Naruto smiles with sadness, hugging Kakashi. 

'Go..' 

-the next day-

Villagers tried showing Naruto the light but he was too afraid to embrace it.

'I'm in love with an angel who's afraid of the light' 

Kakashi thought, watching over his blonde from afar.

The villagers got impatient and punched Naruto to the ground. 

Kakashi jumped in front of Naruto, protectively. 

"Are you okay, Naruto?" concern in his voice.

Kakashi turned his head to look at Naruto.

His halo is broken but there's fight in his eyes

He smiled and Kakashi returned the smile.

"Walls are built to keep us safe!" Naruto spats at the villagers. 

The villagers' smirk and laugh

"yea! until they're crashing down" The villagers spat, pointing fingers at Kakashi and Naruto, accusingly.

"Worlds apart we were the same" Kakashi mumbled.

"Until we hit the ground" Naruto mumbles quietly, standing up.

Kakashi glanced at the blonde with wide eyes.

'we?'

While Kakashi was thinking, confusedly. 

He then notices Naruto yelling:

"Maybe I'm crazy!"

'Naruto..'

"Maybe I'm weak!"

"Maybe I'm blinded by what I see!"

"I wanted a soldier but it wasn't you" Naruto glances at Kakashi, repeating his words. 

Kakashi looked at Naruto guiltily.

"'Cause you could never set me free..." 

Kakashi feels a warm embrace surround him.

Naruto was hugging him tightly.

"Naruto fly on your own" Kakashi mumbles, hugging Naruto back. 

Naruto glances up at Kakashi confusedly.

"It's time I let you go.." Kakashi smiles sadly.

'Go?'  

-later-

(Kakashi's POV)

'Naruto, I already put you through so much trouble..I wish I could take these feelings back so you wouldn't have to suffer with me..but I can't..'

The villagers are supposed to work together and protect each other..I guess that was all a lie.

As soon as I told Naruto I had feelings for him

The walls came crashing down

There was no safety for Naruto and me, especially Naruto...

'Maybe I'm crazy!'

'Maybe I'm weak!'

'Maybe I'm blinded by what I see!'

I pull out my phone and text Naruto.

Hesitantly I send: 

You wanted a soldier, but it wasn't me
cause I could never set you free!
I know you can't let go
So I'll do it for you
fly on your own
my beautiful blonde
I love you

With that last text, I sunshine to the Hokage statues.

Standing on the edge of Lord 4th's head.

"it's time I let you go..."

I smile sadly, leaning off the edge.

"KAKASHI!!!!!!!" the blonde cried out.

Kakashi fell off the edge.

Naruto running and jumping off the Lord 4th's head and down after Kakashi.

'Go'

A/N Hey guys, sorry I made it depressing! :(( Apparently, my mind turns depressing when I'm "tired" I don't know, that's what Obito told me :^
