Viserys had one desire for the Iron Throne until came a girl, Liya of Cintra, she changed Viserys and they fell in love but he still kept the desire for the Iron Throne.

They had a daughter, a beautiful gorgeous baby that so much resembled Viserys, took all the Targaryen features. Liya kept it a whole secret from her mother Queen Calanthe that she had found someone she loved and had a baby with him during her detour in Essos until their baby was born.

Princess Liya went back to Cintra to introduce her baby to her mother but without Viserys. When she introduced her newborn baby girl, Queen Calanthe took in the newborn's features and one thing rang in her mind.

WITCHER

Since she didn't know what a Targaryen was, she for a fact Knew that the baby was a Witcher. Queen Calanthe was disappointed in her youngest daughter, she forced Liya to stay in Cintra while her baby daughter was sent back to the Free Cities in Essos, back to her father, ever since then she was never to see Viserys or their daughter and she never did, her mother forced her to over her life by betrothing her to someone else and in the end, Princess Liya committed suicide.

Back in Essos, Viserys received his daughter alone. He waited for Liya, she never came and he waited and waited but never came till he realized that she had abandoned him with their daughter.

First he thought it was a terrible disgrace to the Targaryen House that his daughter was sent like an object and now he had to raise his daughter by himself and the worst part, they never named her because Liya rushed to introduce her daughter to her mother.

Viserys named her Rhaellerys Targaryen, first of her name and the Young Dragon, he never gave her the titles of Cintra because he would raise her to be a Targaryen.
