Chapter 4

             🌹Danni's POV 🌹

It's finally Friday afternoon so I leave work a bit earlier to get ready for dinner with my siblings and the fact that my brother is joining makes me even more excited. We were always close with each other but due to him taking over our fathers company in a few months time he works extra hard and also the fact that we are all so busy with our own lives we never have time with each other. Due to that  we agreed that twice a month we would hang out and bond.

After making my table neat and sorting a few papers out I stumbled on a picture of Matteo and I when we were younger, we looked so happy with each other I remember us in the garden having our first date, with me being fifteen years old and him eighteen, but we didn't care, we were so in love.

Then my memory take me to when it was my eighteenth birthday when I gave my heart, body and soul fully to him, I will never forget that day he was so sweet and caring but then also had that bad boy side which I loved. We dated for almost 5 years but then he just left without saying anything leaving me with a piece of him.

My parents never knew I dated him nor do they know that Brave is his child, how could I tell them, especially my high and mighty mom, that I dated our gardener. She would have never expected it she would have made me break up with him, not even my siblings knew.

We met when I threw my shoes out the window because I was irritated with my mom, she wouldn't let me go to the movies with my friends so I threw the shoes I had on out the window, petty I know. Not even a few seconds later I hear a grunt, I jump of my bed to see and I see this hot, sexy, panty dropper greek God holding him head looking up.

I gasped and rushed outside to apologized. Since then we became close, with secret flirting and hanging out together till one night we shared our first kiss in the garden and I knew it was too early to say but I fell insanely in love with him. We had secret dates and just secret everything but I would do it again just to be with him again.

But then yet again he left without saying anything so if he ever comes back his gonna be working for it big time. At the same time I feel anxious for when he comes back how will he handle the situation with Brave?. It's so crazy.

Leaving my office I make my way to my car and drove home. I love driving my own car it makes me feel independent, well I am but still.

Arriving home I noticed that Brave is having her afternoon nap so I make my way to my room and undress myself to take a shower, due to the time being 17:45 and we need to be there at 19:00. We will be going to a fancy Italian restaurant so I decided to go with an beautiful eligant dress.

Seeing that Mia would be joining and getting ready at my place seeing that she's already here, I tell her to get ready and that I'll be dressing Brave.

I make my way to Brave's room seeing that I'm already done with everything, and start waking her up and dressing her.

After we done, we make our way down the stairs and wait for Mia.

As she makes her way down after a couple of minutes I see her walking down in a beautiful black dress with a slit in the middle.

"Oooooo Mia Ace gonna love this" I commented knowing full well that she has a crush on my brother.

"Stop it, let's go" She blushes.

Mia's a good girl, she's studying physiology but in her free time she babysits Brave till when I get home. She's been with us for 3 years so she's a close friend of mine and my family.

Arriving at the restaurant I see my siblings and make my way to them.

"Hey guys" I say in a cheerful way because I'm happy.

"Hey " They say in unison matching my tone.

" Hi Mia, how you doing?" Ace says. Mia blushes and answers in a shy tone.

"Hi Ace I'm very well and yourself?"

"I'm good girl" he says as we take a seat.

Myself and my sisters just sit there and watch their interaction with each other with knowing looks.

Few minutes later a waitress walks up to us asking our order. I ordered a glass of red wine and shrimp Alfredo with garlic bread on the side and chicken Alfredo for Brave, it's her favorite. After we placed our order we chatted about the dinner we supposed to have with our parents next week.

"So guys do we really have to go next week to the dinner? " Alexis ask.

"Yes we have to, if not for mom we should definitely go for dad" Ace says. Well all agreed.

"Mia will you join us?" Ace asks Mia, we all look at him stunned. He has never asked any girl to meet the family, hell he didn't even have a girl, ever!.

"Well... ya sure, if your family is cool with it" she says.

"Yes of course we cool with it, right guys?"

"Yup" they agreed.

I look down at Brave and see her watching Bubble guppies on her tablet looking all to cute.

"You OK baby?"

"Yes mamma, see I watch guppies  " she shows me. She's so sweet.

"Yes baby I see"

Not long before that our food comes and I tell her to put her phone away because I don't allow phones at the dinner table, its a big no no. We dig into our food and chat the night away.
