Brotherly Love (Batfamily One Shots)

Dick has had a cold for the past few days. He knew Bruce wouldn't let him patrol but he still wanted to.

Patrol would be different as well. Even Red Hood that barely goes out with them.

Dick felt like if he was gonna die so he took some pills and hoped for the best. It was that time of day where the batfamily got together. Dick was sweating again. His head hurt and was tired.

He walked into the Batcave and saw everyone there. Everyone was changing into their hero outfits. Dick walked into the locker room and changed.  He sat in the ground and started putting on his boots.

" Yo, Golden Boy, you look like shit."

Dick looked up to see Jason well Red Hood standing there. Dick smiled and got up.

" I fine like shit, Jaybird."

" Damn right." Jason placed his hands on his hips.

" Go finishing getting ready."

Jason nodded and walked out. Dick became Nightwing and ran to meet the rest. Batman was giving orders.

" Okay, there's a bank robbery in downtown Gotham. There's also a suspicion that two face is behind this. I'll split us up. Robin and Nightwing will go in throught the vents. Red Robin and Red Hood will get in through the roof and I'll walk in thought the front entrance. Okay."

"Okay."

Everyone quickly went to their bikes and speeded off.

Once they all made it, everyone headed for their spots. Nightwing took the lead. He led Robin to the roof and down into the vents.

" Tt- Nightwing it's scary the way you fit in here."  Robin whispered. Nightwing laughed.

" Well, I am flexible."  He crawled to a place they can see the entrance.

" How do you not fall right though the vents. You're heavy."

" Well, Robin, I tend to be really careful about what I eat."

" Sure. I once saw you eat a whole cake by yourself. So careful."

Nightwing tried hard to muffle his laughter. Robin smiled a little but didn't laugh out loud. When Nightwing turn to face Robin, he was shocked to see him.

Robin didn't pay much attention to Nightwing but his face right now was awful.

" Nightwing, you look as if you're sick."

" I'm fine Robin."

" No, you're not. Your face says it all. You're tired."

Nightwing sighed and nodded.

" I guess I'm a little tired."

" A little. You have bags under your eyes."

" Robin, I'm fine okay."

Robin sighed in defeat and nodded.

Soon the vents started filling up with gas. Nightwing noticed it fast and tried to warn Robin but soon he couldn't breathe. The gas was to much.

Nightwing looked for his mask but couldn't find it. He tried calling for help but someone intercepted his com.

He looked for Robin. He felt a body and grabbed it. He saw it was a knocked out Robin with his mask at his hand. Nightwing took the mask and placed it on Robin's face.
