Hailey find herself standing next to a man who is sitting in a bench watching a football game.
Should she do it or not?
She look back and watch her friends jumping, screaming and waving at her.
She really do have the nicest friends.
She can't believe she'll do this.
This is stupid!
She's not a kill joy. It is just beyond her limits.
This dare could hunt her even at her grave.
"Hailey! Hugs and kisses!"
Tressca shout happily and throw a kiss in the air. Eww. Hailey frown as she thought of kissing a stranger.
"Hey"
"Hey who?"
Hailey startled.
She look back and saw the man standing straight right next to her. He was tall with a wide shoulders. He have a twinkling eyes, a perfect nose and jawline. His complex skin tone match the color of his shirt.
Hailey's eyes drop to his feet up to his face.
God this is an angel.
Hailey thought for a moment.
"Hi" said the man in front of her and smile.
"Uhm. Hi"
Waking up in her daydream, she thought of what to say and how to do the dare simply.
"Oh!" Hailey exclaimed.
"Tony! Yes. How are you? It's been so long since i last meet you. I had missed you soo much"
With that, Hailey hug him without his acknowledgement and kiss him at his cheeks.
"Wha- Who are you?"
The man awkwardly move backward.
His face look firm but his actions show the look of shock to what the woman had done.
Hailey instantly pouted her lips and pat the man's back like they were bestfriend.
" Come on Tony, I'm your childhood friend. Infact, you used to love me right?"
She said it confidently and leans closer to him and wink.
Thinking to what the woman had said, the man feel his cheeks burning up so he take another step back. He wasn't used on flirting because he pushes woman away.
Somehow, there is something about this girl that he needs to know.
My. He was blushing. He's so cute.
Hailey thought.
"Tressca! Annie! Jessa!"
Hailey called her friends. She need to finish this dare now.
While calling her friends, she instantly pull the arm of the so-known-Tony and drag him to her friends.
" No, no. You're wrong. I'm not Tony"
The man said it but she didn't listen. She obviously didn't listen.
As they come closer to her friends, Hailey tighten her grip and pull the man to his body.
"Friends, this is Tony whom we were talking about earlier.
My childhood friend and my lover"
Hailey emphasizes the word lover as he threw a glare to her friends.
Her friends giggles and nod.
The man look at her surprisingly while Hailey smiled to him forcely giving him the look of please-bare-with-me.
"Hahaha. Good girl. Done"
Her friends laugh and giggly runs away leaving her behind.
"What? Hey?" How Hailey wish she could ran too. Wish she didn't agree to this dare. Looking down at her feet she wish this land would open and eat her whole.
She can't face him. This is soo out of her range.
"I'm not Tony" the man started to say.
" I'm Zack though"
Hailey waited for him to say something about what she had done. Instead, Zack lend his hand and say "Your lover"
Hailey look up to his eyes and froze.
10 years past.
"Hailey?" Zack said as he bury his face to her neck.
"Yes?" She responded as they look at the sun setting its body to the horizon. It was the beauty of the nightfall everybody loves.
"Am I Tony today or Zack?"
"Your choice?" Hailey answered and giggles.
Then, Zack kisses her forehead and hold her hand.
