They approach me and Peeta, Prim with a grin as wide as her face itself, and Gale, with that small, happy smile that I remember. "Mommy! Guess who I brand to meet you?" Prim starts to say, when Gale suddenly embraces me in a huge hug. "Missed you, Catnip." he whispers into my ear. I smile. "Missed you too," I say, hugging him tighter.

Prim gives me a puzzled look as we break away, whilst Peeta is looking on happily. "Sorry I didn't let you finish your introduction, Primsy!" says Gale, winking. Prim smiles. "That's ok. But how do you know each other?" she asks. I give Gale a look. I have no idea how to start. He nods back, as if he can read my mind, and starts to speak. "Ten years ago, there was a rebellion. And your mother and I fought in the battle. We are part of the reason Panem is what it is now. Not to mention your father, who played an amazing part in fighting too." I nod to her. Inside, I'm surprised Gale even mentioned Peeta. He had never liked Peeta.

"That's good that you get to see him again!" Prim says, beaming at me. Gale smiles too. "I also have someone else to show you." he says, beckoning over a little girl and a woman with dark red hair. "This is my wife, Sage. And my daughter, Brona." he gestures to us. Brona gives me a small smile, then walks over to Prim. In a matter of seconds they are both giggling together. I shake hands with Sage and we smile at each other. I think we could be good friends.

Peeta breaks the silence by inviting the Hawthornes over to dinner tonight. We wave goodbye and head home, whilst Gale and his family, including Prim who they invited to come for a play so we could prepare for dinner, head back to the hotel they are staying in. On the way back to our house, I step on a rock, almost fall, then I throw up. Peeta rubs my back slowly, then grabs a tissue from his pocket and wipes my face. "Hey, are you ok?" he says curiously but calmly. I shake my head for a second. "I'm fine. Just got a shock." I say. I really don't know what happened. We walk home in silence.

As soon as we get back, Peeta tells me he is going to bake a loaf for tonight and heads down to his shop. I don't protest and go straight to the bathroom, my head feeling a little shaky. I open the cabinet looking for medicine, but something catches my eye that I feel is the reason why I threw up.

I have some something new to tell Peeta tonight.
