"Wha...what was that!!??Did you hear that,Hiro?"
"What was what, Iota. I didn't hear anything"
"N...nothing. I'm probably imagining things"
"Something wrong?, you seem troubled today. Is it because of earlier?"
"Yeah no i was just imagining things i guess"
Both of them walked toward Iota's home without another word.
"Well,see you tomorrow then i guess" Hiro says
"Yeah sure, big guy" Iota said,smiling "again,thank for everything"
There was an immediate flashback to an accident and gave Hiro a migraine immediately and he nearly passed out. Although he was still standing, he did stumble over and nearly fell over Iota but she didn't notice.
"Someone used to call me that before" he thought "Who was it?!why can i put my finger on it"
As soon as he was out of earshot, he started running, faster than the blowing breeze, until he realized that his apartment was right beside Iota's house. Just a street apart.
"Lucky me, i guess" He sighed
That night, Hiro had a dream.
"Hey, we will still be together when we grow up right?,"said a small girl
"Of course we will"replied a small boy
"hey kids, we are going to go shopping, do you want to come with us?" said a cheerful voice of a woman,
"YESS" Was the answer to that,
All that Hiro remembered after that was that there was a car crash. Hiro woke up sweating. He remembered everything. The girl in the dream was Iota. The voice of the woman was the voice of his...... Mother, and that was the car crash where Hiro was told to have lost his memories
How could he forget such important things, things that meant so much to him,things that were his most special memories. He had to tell Iota
Next morning,as soon as he woke up, he headed over to Iota's house and waited for Iota. She came out and Hiro said to her:
"Hey Zero two. Do you remember that nickname i gave you?"
"I was right hmmmm?" She replied,smiling
"You knew?"
"I guessed,and i was right"
"I'm glad i met you again"
Iota then suddenly gave him a hug and cried out of happiness. "I found you,my darling. Finally i found you" she said through tears of happiness.
"Whats wrong darling, why are you sad?"
"N...nothing, I'm just happy you are back"
"Well i am back so cheer up"
They both headed towards their home
As they reached home, Hiro saw a couple of cuts on Iota's arm. Out of curiosity, Hiro asked what they were from. "Nothing Hiro, just the marks left over from my ass of a father."
Hiro's eyes expanded and he asked "When"
"Its nothing Hiro, really"
Hiro gently touched one of the scars and it started spurting blood out. "Doesn't look like nothing though"
Hiro applied pressure on the wound and although Iota didn't notice, a faint glow of gold appeared from his finger.
He walked away and whispered to himself "I have some unfinished business"
