I look out at the new school as we drive past there's no one there,GOOD. I hate when we move schools everyone stares at you like a piece of dirt. I've moved school 3 times now so you think I'd be fine with another new school, but I'm not, I hate new schools, because every time I arrive I swear that everybody knows what I truly am. Then I realise that it's just my nerves thinking that. But im a wolf how am I not meant to freak out when the moon comes out at night and when I'm invited to school camps or sleepovers (witch by the way I'm it aloud to go on) but wouldn't people suspect something... STOP LAURA CONTROL YOUR SELF: my wolf hisses (everybody who's a wolf has a wolf that talks to them, for me it was weird at first but now it's kinda cool)
As dad drops me off he kisses my head and says "your mum would have been so proud of you, sweetie"
"Thanks dad" my voice catches half way through it's the first time we've spoken about mum since she died. 4 months ago my mum was out with some friends and she got drunk as she was walking home she collapsed on the side of the road and a truck went down the street and didn't see her, he drove right over the top off her. I didn't go to school for weeks after I found out, mum and I were super close we did and talked about everything together, so when she died I wanted to die. Even dad was depressed so we decided to move have a fresh start and we did move,we moved from Darwin Australia to were I am now Perth.
