They seemed to sink into each others eyes, not touching, suspended, about one meter distance between them, they lost themselves in the labyrinth of their eyes, the paths turning and twisting, making it impossible to get out.

They communicated... not with words or movements, they were frozen. But their gaze told each other everything... and nothing. They saw each others thoughts and experiences, they knew the other more than anybody else would, definitely more than us, the outsiders, recollecting the tale. For us its just a legend, but for them... It was the first time they really felt something, except duty or curiosity.

What you have felt so many times was totally new to them, something we live which, even if we feel like it isn't there.

They felt... affection... nearly love. Was it love at first sight? Destiny? Or just... a coincidence. Like the amount of coincidences in our lives. The moment was beautiful, pure, I mean if we had been there we probably would have died. But we weren't there, it was long before our time...

Do you feel like one of the starlets? Alone, surrounded by others... but alone. Longing for something you might have never had...

Is it just that kind of love that they were missing? Did they have a home? A home they felt they belonged to? A home isn't just a house where you live, it can be anything you're attached to. A whole place can give you the feeling of home, even just a smell that reminds you of home...

Or a person, your family, your significant other. So did they have a home? If they didn't, did they feel homesick all the time? Yearning for a home they didn't even have or know? Imagine feeling homesick all your life... Its hard to imagine. Would you just get used to it someday? Ignore it?

If that's what the starlets felt all the time, what they felt all the time... It must have been such a huge difference, suddenly feeling different. Feeling as if they belonged there.

A huge weight was lifted from their shoulders and chest, they felt free, not even having noticed that they didn't feel free all those years, floating in the universe. They didn't know what it was, something new, that nobody had felt or experienced before... They found their home, for the first time in a long time... Are you jealous? Or do you have your home already, feeling loved and secure. Or maybe you are far away from home, but still know where your home is, where you belong. Home... is where the heart is.

They finally found it, and a wave of happy feelings washed over them, again something they had never felt before, not when they discovered their first information, not when they decided they were done. The feelings lead to something else that they hadn't ever done truly and honestly.

They smiled.
