Eleven-year-old Emiria was bored and for good reason. Her mother was in a meeting with the daimyo.
That meant that she would be spending the entire day with her advisor and while that sounds like a big deal that meant she had to spend the entire day doing nothing but working.
She had to study proper form and grammar and how to act as a priestess.
It's the same thing she has been learning for years and she was sick of it.
She was over it. She wished that she was like her mother who was a graceful and powerful priestess of the land of demons who was loved and respected by all.
She just wished her life would be more interesting.
When the meeting finally ended her advisor took her to meet with her mother at the shrine
When they arrived she began to talk with her mother.
"Mother, How did the meeting go with the daimyo".
" It went well... Do you know why I went to go meet with the daimyo"
Emiria shook her head no
"Long ago there were four demons the went by the names Kyōra, Jūra, Ryura, and Gōra known as the Shitōshin who plagued the island of horijama. That is when the priestess Kanade sacrificed herself to save the island by sealing them."
"However, This morning I received a premonition of them being released and as such, that means that it is time for me to perform my duties as the priestess of the land of demons.
I, however, won't be able to do this alone so I believe it's time for you to begin your training".
That's when all of a sudden Emiria life became interesting.
