Writing is difficult so here are some dos and donts :)
DO:
Be creative! Do something original, let your mind wander. Sometimes thinking of good ideas is hard, but I would rather you take a long time and have an amazing story than a story that publishes 367 chapters in a week with a very basic plot. For example: Lydia had moved away from her home is Green Creek when she was very young. After many years, she decides to return to the run down, dusty house of her childhood only to find someone was living in the old cottage while she was away.
Original. It does sound basic yeah ik but a homeless person in your childhood house? Good idea! Go for it!
DON'T: Make your characters basic. I hate reading a story and seeing the main character have no flaws and a simple name and a giant house, yet somehow they have nO pArEnTs? Like did they disappear hello sis would be homeless
Example: a girl named Anna Brown with blue eyes and blond hair who wears converse everyday. And her face claim is like, Madison Beer. No.
