Deku's Pov
Y/N ran off to go find the weapon leaving me with Kacchan. I did like the idea of me and him being alone. I've had a crush on him since middle school. But I can't let my emotions get in the way of the task. I need to show Y/N that I can do this.
Bakugo: Hey Deku!
Midoriya: U-um yes Kacchan?
Bakugo: If you really want to win this, don't get carried away and break your arms!
Is he really giving me...advice?!
Midoriya: Got it...
We started to walk around for a bit until an ice wall appeared in front of us. Kacchan destroyed the wall.
Bakugo: Damn Icy-hot...
Midoriya: Come on. We don't want to get distracted.
Kacchan nodded and we searched for Todoroki.
Midoriya: If we take down Todoroki first, Uraraka can't use her quirk on anything...
Bakugo: Yea...so I have to be careful whenever I'm using my quirk.
This actually might be the most normal talk I've ever had with Kacchan in a while...We finally found Todoroki, he was with Uraraka so this would be a bit easy. Todoroki tried to hit me with his ice but Kacchan exploded it before it hit me.
Midoriya: Thanks.
Todoroki: Uraraka now!
That's when Uraraka touched almost every leftover ice that Kacchan exploded and made them float. They were all around us so at any moment we could get showered in ice. That's when I had an idea.
Midoriya: Kacchan... If we don't move for a while then Uraraka could throw up and all the ice will fall.
Bakugo: Yeah, I know that!
Midoriya: So let's wait for her to puke...
Bakugo: Are you stupid or careless? We'll get ice burns!
Midoriya: Not if you hop on my back!
Bakugo:(blushes) Wh-what?!
Midoriya: If you hop my back before Uraraka's quirk goes off, you can explode the ice, and I'll activate my quirk, then I'll run towards them and Detroit smash the ground so they can fall. That would give Y/N enough time to defeat Kirishima.
Bakugo:...sounds like a plan.
A Few seconds later Uraraka started to throw up. Kacchan quickly exploded the ice and I activated my quirk. He hopped on my back and I ran towards Todoroki and Uraraka and Detroit smashed the floor.
Bakugo: We did it! Your plan actually worked!
Midoriya:(Blushes) Um yeah... could you get off my back please.
Kacchan quickly got off my back.
Midoriya: Hopefully that gives Y/N enough time to get the weapon.
Bakugo: I bet she already got it. She is really smart.
Midoriya: And best at strategizing.
I turned over to face Kacchan and I saw that he was smiling?! And it wasn't one of his evil smiles, it was a nice calming smile. It was kinda cute.
Midoriya:(Blushes) A-are you smiling?
Bakugo: Yeah? So what about it?
Midoriya: Well, I haven't seen you smile in ages....I miss it...
Bakugo: Eh? What the hell is that supposed to mean?
Midoriya:(blushes) N-nothing Kacchan! I like you the way you are! Not in a relationship kind of way!
Bakugo clicked his tongue and rolled his eyes.
Bakugo: Let's go find Y/N. If I work with you any longer I'm going to go crazy!
I nodded my head and we went to go find Y/N.
