                                                ~Chapter Two~

The men watched as the young girl collapsed in on herself and fell to the ground, completely unmoving.

“Thank God,” Wil said happily. He was really starting to get annoyed.

Gary kept his eye on the teenager. Something just seemed different about her. Like why had she started crying once they landed? She had to of known something or else she would have continued being stubborn, “Wil,” he muttered, “I think we need to give her more drugs.”

Wil just rolled his eyes, “What for? It will be fine. She won’t remember anything.”

“Just to be safe. She obviously knew something…”

“She didn’t know anything. If she did, she would be screaming to get away,” Curby interrupted.

Gary kept silent. These people have been working for the company for years. They should have known by then, that none of the teenagers they have ever brought in cried their eyes out, like this girl did. They all acted like their usual self, ignorant, dumb kids. The girl had to of known something.

“Just take the bloody girl downstairs already,” the eldest complained, “We told the public that the new competitor is do to air tomorrow. I hate having complaints. Especially from the president.”

“You know what to do,” Wil told his tall companion, pretty much ignoring everything Bill said.

Gary shook his head in annoyance, but picked the girl up and carried her out into the hallway, slamming the door behind him. No one ever listened to him. He felt like he was just being used to do all the handiwork.

He found the hidden elevator that only the employees knew about and pressed the down button.

The doors opened and he was carried to the bottom floor of the ship.

He steeped out into utter darkness and the frigid cold. This was the only time he could bring in the contestants. It was 12:30 in the morning and everyone would be asleep.

He juggled the sleeping girl in his hands and pulled out his walky-talky, “Anyone near?” he whispered into the device.

“Nope. You’re good,” Wil’s voice said.

The walky found its way back into Gary’s belt and he switched it with a flashlight, using it as his guide to the starting point. A room where the kids were safe until they stepped out.

The point was only thirty feet away from the elevator, but the elevator was masked so well, all it looked like was another ugly, metal wall.  No one would know about its existence. They would never know they could have avoided all the torture, if they just turned the direction they were told not to and observed the wall carefully. Also, some convincing to the Rottwieler that they were supposed to be there.

Gary entered the room, the instant smell of rust and mold crept into his nose.

He dropped the girl into the old, dirty bed and pulled the covers up and over her sleeping form.

There was only one thought filtering his mind when he left; If this girl ruins the show… she will not wake up the next day.
