Ella's Monday morning started off like all her other mornings. She was rudely awaken by her spoiled cat, she checked her garden, gathered her produce, and dropped it all off at the Amajiki's, all with her makeup looking flawless. It was the only flawless thing about her, to be honest. Everything about her morning had been going according to her unspoken plans, until she reached the school and started to put her skateboard away.
"Ella!"
Said girl yelped and jumped back. Midor- Izuku stood behind her curiously, not at all regretful of his actions.
"You gave me a heart-attack," Ella said blandly. Izuku shrugged. "What are those flowers in your hair?" Ella was thankful that he didn't dwell on what she said. Her hand went up to her hair, where a band of eighteen scholars sat around her hair poof. "They're called eighteen scholars. They can have up to 130 petals or something. 180? 120? Idk man," she replied. Izuku came up to her and they started walking to class. "Do you grow them yourself?" Ella nodded. "Mhm. It's part of my quirk." This seemed to push energy into the boy, and he immediately started to fire off rapid questions about Ella's quirk and how it worked. She sweatdropped. She had greatly overestimated the broccoli boi's enthusiasm.

Bakugou didn't particularly care about the extra that had stood up to him last Friday. He was sure it was just some crazy burst of confidence that would never occur again. After all, he was fairly smart and observed his classmates often, although he would never admit it. He had seen the black chick before, and she had always seemed stressed and on edge, and upset with him for hurting Deku, but she had never done anything about it. No one had. That's why her standing up was so surprising.
And that's also why it was surprising to see her being dragged into the classroom by that nerd. Honestly, Bakugou thought that she would've wimped out and skipped school today. But no. He turned to see the hottest girl in class - probably the school - being dragged into the room by that damn Deku. He had no clue why it made him so angry. Frankly, he didn't care. He hated Deku anyway, and that black chick was obviously siding with him, so he hated her too. No big deal.

Izuku hadn't stopped chatting her ear off. They made it to the classroom with him dragging Ella in by the arm. Surprisingly, she didn't seem to mind at all. She just looked up at him (he wasn't used to feeling tall) with a bemused expression. He took that as a sign that she didn't mind all his questions and comments. In fact, she seemed just as eager to answer them, if in a quieter way.
The only downside to this new friendship thing was that Kacchan hadn't stopped glaring at them. Not once. Ella didn't seem to mind that either, although she might just be ignoring it. He did hear her mutter something about makeup cracking, but he just brushed that off. He had stolen the seat of whoever usually sat next to her, but that was fine. When the kid came up to confront him about it, the duo just ignored him. Ella had shown Izuku the journal she had brought along that day, which was mainly focused on the succulent family, and Izuku hadn't stopped admiring her drawings, much to Ella's embarrassment.
"Seriously," he said, "these are amazing! Have you ever shown anyone else?" Ella shook her head bashfully, her cheeks dusted with red. "N-No. I'm not really that good? So I um, really don't see the need... to tell people... at all..." Izuku just stared at her. "And b-besides! Um, they're kinda private." Izuku's eyes widened. "Then I shouldn't be looking at this! I'm so sor-"
"No no, it's- I- it's fine, really." Izu paused. "Why?" He didn't get an answer, because at that moment, the wannabe drama teacher walked in. Talk about timing.
