As I wake up for another day I get in the shower and after I finish I step out and see that I have my window open as I go to close it I see my neighbor.she wore baggy clothes and a Bennie all in the color neon green. I close my window and get dressed (look up)I go down stairs quietly get out the door so my dad won't hear me. he gets mad at me for waking him up and hits me. He's an alcoholic.i start walking to school while I see my neighbor walking out of her house."hi I'm your new neighbor my name is Jordan"I say awkwardly"uh hi my name's Billie"she says as she keeps looking forward.we arrived at the school and I going and walk to find my classroom oh I forgot to mention this is my first day at a new school and I could tell people didn't like me.i see Billie hanging out with two other people that looked like deliquescent's .oh wait those are the deliquescent's. Three other people walk up to the group then they all split apart as Billie comes my way to find her class.everyone looks at her and looks scared I'm kinda scared by her. We have the same class together and she sits behind me. In the middle of class Billie passes me a note"is this for me?"I whisper "yeah"she says as she leans in her chair.i open it and it says *do you see the jocks staring at you and are you uncomfortable by it because there play boys*I look at the jocks as they whistle at me and stare me up and down I look at Billie and shake my head yes I put the note in my backpack and head out of class.i start walking to get to the rooftop for lunch and I feel a hand pull on me under the stair case. It's the jocks they start trying to kiss me as I force him off "oh come here girl"he says trying to flirt"eh no I'm gay"I say as they start to smile"makes it more fun"another boy says. I get scared because there surrounding me.then as I close my eyes I here a thump. I look up and I see Billie and one of the jocks on the ground "scram"she says to all the jocks as they leave and mumble under there breath."thanks"I say as she looks at me and says"your lucky I was coming down the stairs"I get up and start going to the stairs as I say to Billie"thanks again""so your gay huh" she says as she looks me up and down. I run up the stairs as she chuckles I turn back to see her beautiful smile and her ocean eyes.
