My Vampire Benchmate~ 4

Noemi P.O.V.

I was tired after the school was over. Doing the whole assignment alone just gave me a lot of headache in one second.

And that's all because of that strange boy. But a handsome one. Isn't it Noemi?

Ofcourse not.

I shook my head to clear my mind and looked around.

Great the school is empty now.

I quickly shifted in my magical creature form which is my biggest secret and yes my weaknesses also.

I'm a SHAPESHIFTER.

But I can also manage my human consciousness.

My main natural form is a cat which I discovered in my 15th birthday during new moon.

I hid my bag inside the secret hole on tree before getting out of my human body completely turning into a white fur ball of a cat.

I quickly ran inside my deserted secret place. It was nice and quiet to meditate alone.

Suddenly a shining cloth caught my eyes.

Wow !it was amazing sparkling cloth.

My sharp nails automatically came out of my paws as I started scratching it.

*creak*

The sound of something creaking behind me caught my attention. I quickly turned around to face my fear.

What is he doing here?

A fear almost ran inside my body looking at him. Something was strange. And creepy with him.

But whatever feeling I sensed almost vanished when I looked at his eyes. It was normal with hint of shock.

*thud*

Something fell and it was my time to ran away before my secret got revealed to a stranger who's now my benchmate for almost a week.

My body shifted into a white mouse and I hide myself inside a hole quietly.

But the problem was-- this place smells like a rotten eggs and my senses are highly active.

After sometime or maybe after ages finally it all went quiet.

I stealthily with my little paws made my way outside my hiding place and heard unknown voices from far.

"Lucas do you stuck down your teeths still or not?"

"You know the rules Nat. Don't joke around. "

"Chill man. By the way I'm hungry. "

"You're always hungry. No offense Nathan. "

"Aww you know me so well Agatha darling. "

"And how about you Lucas?"

"I'm also hungry and almost found a cat but.. she ran away."

I got confused hearing the most strangest conversations ever in my life. If you are hungry why do you want a cat, eat something edible.

After few more minutes everything stopped and became silent.

I quickly got out changed into my clothes, took my bag and ran out of school. I was smelling like a hell and that hell needs a long hot shower.

The next day I was late. Means super late with 10 mins left for ringing the bell.

I took toast between my teeths and bid goodbye to my parents.

The last bus was already standing there and about to close the door when I made it inside.

I mentally did a happy dance and held the pole tightly to stand still. It was crowdy like always.

I started running inside the empty hallways tightly holding my school bag on my shoulder.

"Ooopss!!"

I bit my lips to stop the sudden pain on my back. I was suddenly pushed onto the floor.

"Hey you nerd!"

And there stood in their whole glory the queen bees and beside them jocks and their slaves.

I tried to got up and leaned towards the one of the locker trying not to hiss in pain and closed my fist from stopping my claws to came out.

"We told you not do a single mistake on our homeworks but no, look what you did."

Whitney the main leader of queen bees held her notebook in front of my face.

There was written a B+ with little red circles around few words.

I closed my eyes to control myself.

'This is not the right time.'

I started chanting calming words to calm myself but was failing miserably when one of them held my chin.

"When we're talking to you just look up, nerd."

"Guys she needs a lesson. "

I looked up and tried to swallow my tears and was a about to punch him on face when-

"Ahhhhh!!!"

He was pushed against the locker. My eyes landed on the hand helding his neck painfully.

"Lucas."

His darkened eyes landed on me and he left the jock who fell on ground unconscious.
