It was already their sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but even at the immature age of sixteen, Johanna Marchesi was absolutely, positively positive about one thing. She fancied James Potter. Not just a "This bloke is fit as hell," type of fancy. Not even an "Oh, I just think his personality is hot," this was a full-blown infatuation. Johanna didn't have a clue how to handle that at all. She'd been infatuated with Potter since the first day back from the holiday break in second year, and it wasn't any help that he was infatuated with one of her closest friends, who happened to also hate the git. So, out of embarrassment and shame knowing that she shouldn't even like him and she wouldn't even have a chance of winning him over, she hadn't done a single thing about the feelings except shove them away in a tiny little box in the back of her mind that had twenty padlocks on it and was charmed to stay shut. They still didn't seem to go anywhere.
She thought she made an agreement with herself to keep it locked. Though her mindset seemed to change the night she attended a Gryffindor hosted Sixth and Seventh-year welcome back party. She didn't mean to take one too many puffs off a spliff she'd passed around with a few of her Seventh-year friends. She didn't mean to take a few shots of a bottle of firewhiskey one of the few older snakes snuck into the party. She didn't mean to unlock that box in the back of her mind and happen to spill it all to one of the last people she would've expected to be hanging out with her that night. And she especially didn't mean to promise herself to keep that box unlocked, and in fact, try her best throughout the year to seduce James Potter. But, maybe it won't turn out as bad as she thinks.
