2: Whats That?

Last time: The last few days have been rainy, sunny, cloudy, all sorts of weather. Today it's sunny. Jade and I are out riding two of the horses, Charm and Thunder. I'm on Charm. We are riding in the woods. We soon come to a clearing and have lunch. The clearing has two large, oddly shaped trees in the middle. There's a little door or something in between them. So, me being me, I open it and walk through. Jade chases after me. We look around and see...

Trees. We see a whole forest. There is a little river and we could see a castle in the distance. We (so, really, just me, cause Jade was running after me) started running toward the castle. We've been walking and running for 1 and 1/2 days. The castle is just over a hill. Suddenly, a weird combination of horse and man bolts over the hill.

"Pony!!!" I say.

"Katie, that's a centaur, not a pony," Jade says.

"Who are you!! Did you kidnap the kings and queens?!" The centaur says.

"Kings and queens? Where are we?" Jade askes.

"Why, your in Narnia!" He says.

"What's that?"

"What's what?"

"That!"

"What's 'that?'" He asks.

"I don't know, you tell me," I state, bluntly.

"I think she's talking about that," Jade says, and points behind him. It's a ton of catapults and an army behind the castle!!

"Telmarines!!!" He then blows a horn 3 long times, and one short. A whole army of animals comes out of the castle. Jade and I are given horses and swords. Jade doesn't trust me. She's still mean. My horse looks just like Charm, and he has a chestnut coat, and brown eyes. The horse talks and says his name is Phillip. He's a cute horse.

The centaur tells us to charge into battle, and hurt the bad guy who's who because the bad guys are wearing masks. The army isn't that big, so it doesn't take long to win. Jade and I are facing the commanders of the army. I take on the younger boy, and Jade takes on the older boy. The boy I'm fighting probably thinks that I know nothing about fighting. But mom and dad had signed us up for sword fighting, karate, sparring, jousting, archery, and all types of fighting. I'm a pro at jousting, archery, and sword fighting.

"Hello, little girl. Come to lose?" He asks.

I smirk, "Nope." We start jousting. I'm a little rusty, but I'm winning. I do a fancy move that I made up, and he fell off.

"I WIN!!!!!!!!!" I shout. I beat him in about 4 minutes.

Jade is next. The boy she is fighting also underestimates her. She beats him in about 3 minutes.

"HA!! I beat you Katie," Jade taunts.

"I WANT A REMATCH!!!" I scream.

"Fine," the boy says. We joust again, and I beat him 15 second before Jade, time wise. So, I beat him in 2 minuets and 45 seconds.

"HA!! I WIN!!!" I scream at Jade.

"WHATEVER!" Jade screams back. We look at each other and burst out laughing.

The next day, we're showed a picture of the old kings and queens, and they're the kids we met on the train!

We ended up winning that battle, and we are being crowned temporary Queens. I'm wearing a plain baby blue dress, with no shoes. Jades wearing a light purple dress, also without shoes.

Suddenly, bells are rung, and the creatures in the castle are running around shouting, "Aslan is here, Aslan is here!" Then, a lion walks to the front, and roars. Jade, being the reasonable one, steps back, and me, being the unreasonable one, steps forward. Everyone in the hall kneels as he walks toward us. He says a whole long speech, I wasn't paying attention, then he motions for the crowns.

"To the high rising towers of Cair Paravel, I give you Queen Katie, the Brave," Aslan says, as a faun puts a wood-framed crown, with beautiful baby blue flowers and small white pearl beads, on my head. "To the bright, western sunset, I give you Queen Jade, the Faithful. Once a Queen of Narnia, always a Queen," the faun now put a pretty a vibrant green vine, with white Baby Breath flowers, and soft pink rose, crown on Jade's head.

"Long live Queen Katie, long live Queen Jade!" The cheer goes up.
