Peter starts running with my hand in his.
"Peter!" I laugh and run along with him. "Where are you taking me?"
"You'll see!" he replies. We keeping running through the forest until we come to a clearing. A cliff is a couple yards away and Peter leads me to it. He sits down on the cliff, his legs dangling dangerously off of it. I join him and hang my legs off also.
"Wait for it," he whispers. After a few seconds I see thousands of small balls of light fly into the air. I gasp. They don't look like they are on fire but they fly around making glitter trails all across the night sky. "Fairies," Peter says quietly. I am fascinated and we wait for them to come closer.

Peter's POVThe look on Mikayla's face when I tell her they are fairies makes my stomach do backflips. She looks excited and her eyes glitter with curiosity and amazement. She is so captured with her fascination for the fairies, but I'm captured by her face. I don't look away until she looks over at me. I smile at the fairies that have flown over to greet us. Mikayla giggles as some of the fairies fly around her head. I look around and spot Tinker Belle.
"Tink!" I say and she flies over to me. "Do you mind giving us some fairy dust?"
She nods her head in reply and sprinkles some into my hand. I look at Mikayla and give her a mischievous look.
"Do you trust me?" I ask.
"Yes," she says. She looks excited but somewhat nervous. I gently blow the fairy dust into her face. I grab her hand.
"Jump," I say and slide of the side of the cliff, bringing Mikayla down with me. Instead of falling, we fly up. She wobbles a little bit, but I keep her steady. I can see she doesn't know what to think about flying. She seems a bit frightened at first but then quickly becomes eager to fly on her own.
"I'm going to let go of you, okay?" I say.
"Alright," she says. I let her hand slip out of mine.
