The next morning, Cold breeze can be felt. There were no dancing trees outside due to the season. The winter season just begun but the sound of nature is surely beautiful.

- then Lisa's phone started beeping.

Lisa POV:

I was waken up by the alarm, I reached for my phone and stopped it so that I could get a few more minutes to sleep. But I guess I couldn't.

As I opened my eyes, I didn't realized that I fell asleep on my desk. Maybe I got really tired finding job last night. Every details, every company, every position, I sent every information and requirement that I have. Today is my first day of waiting for their calls.

I hope this time, I'll get myself a job.

"I walked towards my bed and made myself comfortable. I closed my eyes and tried going back to dreamland.

A few minutes later...

My phone started beeping once again., "Fuck it!" I groaned. I didn't looked at whoever's calling me this early and answered the call immediately.

"Who's this?" I spoke, more of an irritated Lisa type of way.

"Honey, I'm outside your apartment. Could you please open the door for-"

I stood up quickly and checked my room if there were dirty clothes. I found a dirty jacket under my bed and a pair of dirty socks under the desk.

I took them and placed them in the laundry basket immediately and ran downstairs.

"Hey, mom!" I greeted her and she gave me a hug. "Sweetie, what took you so long to open the goddamn door? It's cold as shit outside."

"I.. I just woke up, mom. I'm sorry about that." I giggled softly.

My mom started looking at me from head to toe. As if she's about to say something about my figure or the state of my body.

"My baby's growing so fast." she took a deep breath and smiled at me. I gave her a small smile and mouthed, "I love you, eomma." then my mom chuckled.

"I bought groceries for you. I don't want my daughter to starve to death. I'll arrange it in your pantry." I nodded at her and thanked her as she planted a kiss on my forehead and started carrying the grocery bags

"Oh, your dad is outside. I guess it's taking him so long to find a parking." I nodded amd she started walking towards the pantry.

I checked from the window if my dad was in front of my apartment. But nah, he wasn't. I went back upstairs to grab my hoodie and slipped it in my slim body.

I ran downstairs and went outside to find where my dad parked. I started walking and still no sign of his car.

I walked across the street and saw a masculine man standing beside a car. I couldn't see it clearly plus his bsck was facing at me. I walked towards him and as soon as he faced to where I am standing, he almost jumped.

"Hey dad!" I chuckled.

"Hmm, Lalisa Manoban. A pretty baby, I've raised so well. Come here!"

I attacked him with a tight hug and he almost made me flew because he carried me like a child. I kept chuckling at his actions.

"I missed you, sweetie." he sighed.

"I missed you too, Appa! I really did. Now, let's go to my apartment because mom's right. It's cold as shit in here." i heard my dad chuckled and I started shaking at the coldness of the wind.

While we were on our way back to my apartment, my dad kept throwing lame jokes one at a time. I admit, his jokes are sometimes funny. I was just stopping myself from laughing because if I laugh, he won't probably stop saying another joke.

-
My dad was sitting on the couch while I was sitting on the accent chair. He took off his jacket and looked at me.

"How's your job, honey?" he asked.

I looked at him and gulped. I didn't know what to answer. I'm pretty sure he'll be mad if I say no. But I didn't have a choice, right?

"Uh, still finding one. But don't worry! This is the first day of waiting for their calls. I-I've sent my requirements to five companies," I told him and sighed.

"I'm sorry." I added.

Even though I was currently staring at my trembling hands, I could feel that my dad is looking at me. I could sense that he's really mad. He wanted me to find a job immediately after I graduated. But it was a failure. I wanted to have some rest, fun and enjoy each moment that I am still free.

I have the assurance that I won't be able to have some fun whilst working my ass off out there. I won't be able to spend some time alone with myself and with my friends.

The laughs and giggling father and daughter moments a while ago turned into an intense atmosphere in all of a sudden.

"How many times do I have to tell you that you should've been working now? Like, now!" he exclaimed.

I heard footsteps behind me, obviously it's my mom. His loud and angry voice can be heard from the whole apartment.

"Marco, what's wrong? Why are you speaking so loud this early?" my mom gave dad and I a questioning look.

"I'm sorry, I think I have to go." I say.

"No, stay here. I swear, Lisa! Why do you keep running away everytime I am asking and saying something about you and your life? Wait, is this why you don't want us to come over? Because, because you're anxious that I might ask you if you have found a job already? Is that so, Lalisa?" he knitted his brows while giving my mom a quick glance and then his gaze went back to me.

" I am disappointed, really." he added.

Marco POV:

"Lets go, before I could do or say anything stupid." I told my wife. She hesitated at first. I grabbed my jacket and my phone and made my way to the main door immediately.

She wasn't following me, I saw her giving Lisa a tight hug. I took a deep breath and stepped out of her apartment.
