Chapter 6 - The meeting

Skylar's POV
I woke up feeling Connor's body beside me. He was still sleeping, I could tell by his peaceful breathing. I wanted to stay in bed with him but I couldn't. It was the final day before meeting and I planned on doing alot. First, I planned to run a little, just to relax. Then, I'd do vocal exercises and practice Innocence all day long.

I sadly untangled myself from Connor's hug and went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and washed my face and then quietly opened my closet and put on some sportswear. I looked at Connor one last time. He looked like an angel while sleeping. He also looked extremely cute. I smiled and went outside. I put my headphones in and started running.

After an hour, I came home, exhausted but not as tensed as I used to be. I went up to my room and Connor was still sleeping. I looked at the clock.

11.AM

Wow Connor really loves sleeping. I went to bathroom, took a shower and came back to my room. And he was still sleeping. I decided to put an end on it and I punched him with a pillow.

Nothing.

I punched him again and he turned around and mumbled something in style: "Ugggh let me sleeeeeep"

I started tickling him. He was giggling like a little girl. I was just smiling at how cute he was. He finally turned around and managed to open his eyes.

"Morning Connor"

"Morning Satan"

I smiled and saw that he was closing his eyes again. I opened the blinds.

"AAAA OKAY OKAY I'M UP YOU ARE A RUDE LITTLE KITTY AREN'T YA?"

He got out the bed and hugged me. He kissed my cheek and then went to the bathroom. Meanwhile I made my bed and opened my mac. I opened youtube and typed in "vocal exercises". I clicked on random videos and sang along.

Suddenly,Ricky came to the room.

"Wooow you have a voice of an angel."

"Thanks" I said. The compliment felt really good, it raised my self esteem to a whole new level. And I knew that Ricky is not kissing my butt, I mean he's a musician and he knows what he's talking about.

He joined me and we sang along to some songs. We just finished "Ordinary" when we heard clapping. We turned around and saw Connor,Jc and Kian.

"If Mahone says no to that, there's something wrong with him." Jc said.

I smiled thankfully.

Connor's POV
Skylar smiled thankfully as Jc complimented her. Ahhhh how I love that smile of hers.

The three of us went to the room and plopped ourselves on bed. We sang some songs and soon, me and Skylar were in the room alone. I could see that she was nervous and I couldn't just sit there and do nothing.

"Love,how nervous are you?" I asked her and put a hand over her shoulder.

She breathed out and blankly stared at the wall. I could fell her heartbeat. It was faster than usual.

"I can't even tell. Thinking that this could decide my future is really scary..It just means sooooo much to me... What if I fuck everything up?"

I hugged her and stroke her hair.

"Shhh you won't fuck it up okay? I believe in you, and so do Kian,Jc and Ricky. Everything will be alright, I know you're gonna rock!"

Later that day we went to a movie and Starbucks, because I wanted to keep Sky relaxed. It worked out and in the evening, she was relaxed as if tomorrow is another ordinary day. But it will not be, I can tell.
