Chapter 3: The Choen Chapter

Chase's pov

It all started last summer right before the second part of the Lights Out Tour. The lineup from the first week was set but we wanted to spice it up a bit for the second one. This fairly new Tiktoker had been popping off lately and we were interested in adding him to the tour.

"It was Noen!" Nick exclaims, interrupting.

"That's right, now hush," I say and continue to set the scene.

He seemed cool from his videos so I reached out to him. I was one of the only guys who got to know him before the tour which meant he stuck with me the whole time. I didn't mind because I had been lonely ever since Cynthia and I broke up a few days earlier. Truthfully, I was never really attracted to Cynthia but back then she was still one of my best friends.

Noen and I shared a room on the tour, probably part of the reason we developed feelings for each other so quickly. I remember our first kiss like it just happened yesterday. One night, I was especially missing Cynthia and I started crying at 3 am. Hearing me, Noen climbed over to my bed and held me until I finally stopped. I immediately felt at peace when he looked down at me and I wanted to know what was behind those hazel eyes. I leaned in to get a better look and before I knew it he was kissing me. The kiss was cautious but firm. I didn't realize it yet, but I fell for him that night. We slept in the same bed for the rest of the tour after that.

On the last day of Lights Out when it was time for everybody to leave, Noen and I realized we wanted to be more than friends. That was the day we made it official. I still get a little sad thinking about the fact that our one year anniversary would have been this summer.

Of course, the distance was difficult to manage as a new couple, but Noen came to visit me in California almost every month. One of my favorite of his visits was when he came to see me in August. All we did was go shopping, order takeout food, get dressed up for no reason, and film Tiktoks all day. Though we tried to keep it a secret, we became close very fast and we couldn't help showing it on social media. After two months our fans got even more suspicious and so did our friends and family. At the time, we thought it would be best to deny the rumors to the public, but we did come out to our loved ones. They were supportive, but not at all surprised.

Nick interrupts me again suddenly, "No shit Sherlock. It was obvious to me and I didn't even know you yet."

"Shut up Nick! You can't know someone's gay until they tell you now let me finish!" I reply quickly.

"And get to the good part already. I know you two lost your virginity to each other. OOOO how romaantiiic." Nick says in a high-pitched voice, teasing me.

"Seriously stop or I'm gonna leave and you'll never know," I say, secretly holding back laughter.

Nick stayed silent, and I continued my story.

If you must know, the first time we had sex was when he came to stay for a week in September. We were renting a house with a few friends but they had left for the day so we decided to seize the opportunity. I was filming a youtube video* in our room and Noen was laying on the bed behind me. I asked what he thought of my shirt and he said it looked "sick" before telling me he wanted me to take it off. I edited that part out of course. He beckoned me toward the bed and made me turn off the camera. I remember being so nervous to lose my V-Card that I started making jokes.

"What? Don't you know how much money we could make off of our sex tape?" I asked.

He laughed and took the camera out of my hands then replied, "If we want to make any money we have to get good at it, so we better get to practicing."

The thought of us "practicing" turned me on so much that I started getting a boner as soon as he kissed me. He pulled me onto his lap and he was already so hard I could feel him through my pants. I thought it must have been the shirt.
For a while, we were just making out and grinding on each other. It felt so good and both of us were on the brink of release when he stopped me and said he didn't want to cum until he'd tasted me. He told me he couldn't wait to be inside me. It was my first time as well so I didn't know if I would like being on the receiving end. Come to find out, it felt better than anything I had experienced before.

"Ok ok, that is quite enough detail for right now, thanks," Nick says making a face.

"I thought you wanted me to get to the sex stuff," I say back, genuinely confused.

Looking uncomfortable he replies, "I did. I was sick of that sappy shit but now I think I've heard too much."

"Fine then, I'll just tell you how it ended," I say, preparing myself for the painful memories.

When Noen came to visit all of us around Christmastime, Thomas was sneaking around as usual and he caught us having sex. He made Noen pack up and leave that night. I drove him to the airport, we kissed goodbye, and I cried the entire drive back. When I got home Thomas pulled me aside and told me that I needed to make it up to him for risking our brand like that. He threatened me and said that if I didn't start a fake relationship with one of the girls in the hype house, he would out me on the internet and expose me for lying to my fans for five months. I knew that I was already on thin ice for my past mistakes and the fact that I had been lying to them for so long would turn my fans against me. Reluctantly, I accepted the deal. Thomas let me take my pick of the girls so I chose Charli.We were the most popular creators in the house and out of the ladies I was the closest to her anyway. I figured it could be worse.

During our "relationship" I felt bad for every cute Tiktok, every Instagram comment, and especially all the interviews. I tried to keep my answers to the girlfriend question vague so as not to hurt Noen, who didn't know what was going on.

"He still doesn't," I say with a sigh before continuing.

The last time he came to visit me was in January. After we filmed for his Youtube show** we hashed everything out. Thomas had told me that I had to break up with Noen once and for all, so I said I had fallen in love with Charli. Lying to him is still one of my biggest regrets. He told me that it was ok because he had also fallen in love with someone else. She was a popular, British makeup artist on Tiktok named Abby Roberts. I knew they were close friends but I was completely blindsided and heartbroken by the news anyway. I felt like I had let the love of my life slip away because I was spending so much time being untrue to myself. And all because Thomas didn't want me throwing away the desirability of my female fans for someone with less of a following than I had.

I realize that Nick and I had both been crying and at some point, he had begun holding my hand.

"I am so sorry Thomas did that to you, Chase," Nick says, looking into my eyes.

I wipe his tears away and say, "Don't be. Just don't let him do the same to you and Tony."

We hugged each other and held it for a long time.

Meanwhile, Nick gets a text on his phone from Tony.

Tony: I told Ondreaz everything. Can we talk?
