It was truly a horrifying view as monsters of all shapes and sizes charged the weary seven. Their hope nearly drained completely as Gaea's giants laughed with glee, ready to taste demigod blood. Never the less, Percy Jackson stepped forward looked back at his friends, who he had grown to love as family. His trademark smirk plastered on his face his as his eyes lingered on each of his friends faces, staying the longest on his wise girl. They made eye contact and an understanding passed through them, no matter the outcome of this battle they would be together.

"For Olympus," was all Percy had to say as he turned, uncapped Riptide, raised it to the charging army, and ran to met the monsters on the battle field. The seven made an arrow head formation behind Percy and drew there respective weapons. They formed a destructive arc that had monster blood and dust coating their path. Every monster that came in contact was met with a blade. Soon, almost too soon did their arc slow and form into a defensive circle. After nearly thirty minutes the first half-blood fell. It was Piper. The battle seemed to still for a moment as they all heard the gasp of pain. As Piper fell the demigods saw the spear jutting out just below her heart. Jason who had been in love with her started crying angry tears. The skies darkened and flashes of lightning drew some of the monsters attention making them a little more worried of the son of Jupiter and his newly formed rage. It seemed as though the death of a demigod is what the gods needed to take action. twelve angry Olympians rained hell from the sky. Shooting godly energy into the horde of monsters. and soon it was just the giants remaining as most of the monsters had either fled or died trying to flee.

The Giants now enraged with the interference charged the tired group of demigods. Leo being as crazy as ever decided it was his time to shine, tapping a small button on his wrist, a loud roar was heard slowing the giants only a little. A large bronze dragon emerged from the wreckage that was once the Argo 2. The dragon, also known as Festus, extended his large wings and took off towards the giants breathing Greek fire at them. Two of the Giants stopped and tried take out the beast but were soon cut and bleeding from the dragons celestial bronze talons, silver and gold arrows rained from the sky signaling the twins of Leto saw what was happening. with renewed vigor the remaining seven charged the Giants as the gods joined them on the ground.

After ten grueling minutes the second demigod fell, it was Frank. The war god screamed in agony as the sword that was meant for him, cleaved Franks head from his body. He had died without suffering. Percy who had been thrown back by Polybotes, screamed in rage as he stood his power grew almost ten times that of a normal son of Poseidon's, his eyes glowing an eerie green as he stood and charged a shocked bane of Poseidon without time to react Polybotes' ugly head was severed from his even uglier body. As this new and more powerful Percy looked for more Giants to become his victims a harmonious laughter stilled the battle, even the Giants looked around in fear at hearing their mothers laughter. A split second later the ground shook more violently than it had in years. Everyone except the enraged son of Poseidon and the glaring daughter of Athena fell. One of the Giants struggled to his feet and threw his spear into the heart of an unsuspecting Leo who cried out in pain before going silent, his eyes glazing over.

A beautiful woman with honey blond hair and dirt brown eyes took this moment to rise from the earth making her presence known by stopping the shaking and making earthen hands rise with her and taking hold of gods, Giants, and demigods alike. The only one without earthen restraints was Annabeth, who looked at the earth mother with murderous intent. With the battlefield now filled with the sounds of struggling. Annabeth looked around where her eyes landed on a restrained Percy. she turned to face the woman and without a sound charged her, the drakon bone dagger covered in monster blood and dust held in an ice pick grip. As she neared the earth mother her legs started to sink into the earth slowing her down but she still made it to Gaea. Mother earth frowned and drew a white leaf bladed sword and stopped the advancing dagger that would have impaled her skull. Annabeth fought like a demon, Gaea had to admit that the daughter of Athena fought well. With a cunning grin Gaea brought out a small golden dagger that only Percy was able to see.

As Annabeth brought down her blade in an overhead strike and before Percy could cry out, Gaea saw her opening and took it. blocking the blade from entering her heart she brought the golden dagger out to view, only to late did Annabeth see the glint of the sun shine into her eyes, the next thing she felt was the blade entering her just above the stomach. Dropping the drakon bone dagger she stumbled out of the reach of Gaea who was laughing a sadistic grin taking form on her face. Annabeth fell to her knees as her life flashed before her eyes the sounds of a screaming Percy faded into the background as Annabeth fell the rest of the way to the ground. Without warning the earth shook once more leaving a now frowning earth goddess without the power of the earth in her command. she looked around the field to see a now free and very angry Perseus Jackson, although anger isn't the word to describe the look of pure hatred that flowed from the son of the sea god. Gaea now with fear in her eyes summoned her second sword, this one a black leaf blade. With unknown power Percy charged the now horror stricken primordial. Each of Percy's footsteps signaled a power serge that the gods could only describe later as absolutely terrifying. Percy with this new found power started to mercilessly fight the terrified primordial he turned into a whirlwind of destruction with a small hurricane building around him.

Soon enough the goddess of the earth was on the ground, sand pouring from many different wounds one arm severed off at the elbow. Her now abandoned swords bent and broken lay a few feet from the sobbing Goddess, silver tears made horrible tracks down her face as she begged the young demigod to end her life, Percy who was somewhat regaining control of his mind was also on his knees crying in front of the Goddess. He looked on in shock as Gaea, the one he thought was to end him was now begging to be killed.

"I'm sorry," Percy whispered only loud enough for mother earth to hear. With a small nod of her head Percy stood and brought Riptide up and then down in one swift movement, granting the goddesses last wish before her now eternal slumber.

A/N: I believe this is my first Percy Jackson/chaos book so leave some comments on what I could do better? Also I don't know how often I'll be able to post new parts but we shall see and I don't own any characters, I will point out the ones I do own.
