While not the first Craddock, Lloyd Dyfan Craddock was a wizard who made history. Born on a wagon near modern-day Pembroke, Lloyd spent most of his first eleven years going from settlement to settlement. Like all wizards, he went to Hogwarts the year after his eleventh birthday. Sorted into Slyhterin, he was a boy who never made friends, mostly due to his silver tongue, manipulating his yearmates into doing the work for him and accusing them of plagiarism when the teachers noticed their work were almost identical. Although he mainly used his classmates' work to simply pass, Lloyd was known to be an excellent student on his own, surpassing many of his teachers' expectations. He passed Hogwarts with flying colours and his deception skills made him a excellent hire for many wizard societies. He chose to join 'Y Sarff' (Welsh: 'The Serpents')

In 1066, the year Lloyd turned 25, 'Sarff' spies in England reported that the King of Norway and the Duke of Normandy would be invading England. Many Welsh wizards in the independent Kingdoms of Wales were conflicted on whether or not to join the invading forces, as Anglo-Saxon wizards had been trying to conquer Wales, so gaining favor with whichever invading force won would let the Wales Kingdoms keep their independence by charming the Muggle council. 'Y Sarff' were anxious to keep the Kingdoms independent, so the Grandmaster sent messages to member stationed across the Kingdoms to join the invaders. Those in the northern Kingdoms would join the Norwegians, while those in the southern Kingdoms would join the Normans. Lloyd was a member in Southern Wales, so he joined the Normans. He, among others met with the Normans when they landed at Pevensey.

When the Battle of Hastings began on the 14th of October 1066, ten days after Lloyd's 25th birthday, the wizards erected Notice-Me-Not charms, keyed to the Muggle soldiers. The Welsh and Norman wizard's tactics won against the Anglo-Saxon's size in numbers, and soon they were the only wizards left on the battlefield. When they saw the Norman's retreat and flank tactic, many wizards began firing spells at the Anglo-Saxon soldiers. Lloyd fired off a Cutting Hex at them and, by luck, he hit Harold Godwinson, King of England, right in the eye. Left leaderless, some of the Anglo-Saxons fled, while others defended their King's body, but nonetheless, the Normans had won.

After the battle, the Norman wizards who witnessed King Harold die by Cutting Hex, asked how had casted it. Lloyd was brought forth and the Normans thanked him profusely. They noticed some Muggles looking at the body of the King, confused by hole in his eye, seemingly caused by nothing. Those Muggles were Obliviated and the wizards stuck an arrow in Harold's eye, causing the myth that he died via an  arrow to the eye.

As way of thanks, the Norman wizards built a manor in the County of Pembrokeshire, near modern-day Pembroke. The manor was built with a combination of French and Celtic architecture, completed on the 6th of December 1066 and given to Lloyd. He named it Craddock Manor, and it became the ancestral home of his family name.

Lloyd would later his life: marry a woman he was sweet on in Hogwarts and shire two sons: Meic and Tomos. Little is known about Lloyd's old age, other than he died via heart attack on the 12th of September 1107 in his manor.

Lloyd Dyfan Craddock ended a line of kings and started a Welsh legacy.
