Well... Mostly.
Taylor is a girl who freaks out rather too easily and gets overwhelmed very, very quickly. This leads to some major procrastination, and she tends to put off her work. Very often.
Harriett Webb started out as a silly pre-teen who loved One Direction more than life. Then she started to like Marianas Trench. And YouTubers. Then her friends started to make her feel belittled about the things she liked. She could no longer fangirl without being dismissed. She started to want to run away to a better life.
So she became Danielle Howard.
Danielle Howard was a girl who wrote and read about YouTubers as much as she pleased. She fantasized about running away, and started to like more hardcore music. She began to paint an image for herself that she liked. Curly brown hair, a cute face, just a cool person in general. She swore as much as she wanted and voted for the stories she wanted on Wattpad (even with smut in them) cuz she could. No one knew except one friend who would only love her all the more for it. She was happy. She was herself.
And then her other friend found out.
She tried to deflect it, but she couldn't. They talked it out, and all was well. She still had Danielle Howard and Harriett Webb under her belt, and she was happy with that. She was able to escape within herself into both of these 'personas,' who were truly just two internet embodiment of who she wanted to be. She continued to find herself and combine the two names. And slowly, but surely, the two names are becoming one. She uses them both interchangeably, though she started using Harriett more and more. They're now becoming one person, and she couldn't be happier about that.
And that girl, is me.
Hi, my real name is Taylor. I prefer to go by Harriett Webb, and Danielle Howard is my 'internet name.' All three of these people are who I am, though it's kind of a mess at the moment. So, I'm trying to bring them together as much as I can.
Someday, I'll just be Harriett Webb.
