The Last Goodbye

'Bye mum' 'Bye son' 'have a good day at school' 'I will' was the last words i ever got to say to mum and ever saw her hello my names Rueben and I lost my mum at 13 this is my story of how and when I lost my mum anyway back to the story like I said I lost my mum on November the 19th 2011 no one knows on the wear abouts  and to this day they still don’t know , so i am coming home from school dragging my feet in the gutter and throwing stones I reach my house and stumble up the cranked stairs to our apartment 'hello mum' our house was so quiet my voice echoed through the house I threw my bag in my room and went straight to the fridge for a drink and made me a sandwich I seen a note on the table and it was from mum ' hello son I wont be home tonight I left 10$ in your room for your lunch tomorrow. I went to bed and sat there for ages and eventually fell asleep, I woke up the next day and raced to my mums room the house was empty? Started  getting worried as days past by I rang family members but they hadn’t seen her , I rang the police and they did everything they could wasn’t till days went by i realised she was missing I sat in my room with tears racing down my cheeks and having sleepless nights hoping she will walk through the front door any minute later during the week they found her body washed up in a river investigations went on and they said she had been raped and strangled to death all that was going through my mind was finding the killer and like i said to this day they still haven’t found her I still cry to this day and sleepless  nights , my mums funeral came and I did a really long speech on what my last words were I really miss her and didn’t think that was my last good bye.
