My Facebook Messenger Boyfriend (Nishinoya Yuu)

Morning Walk

Nishinoya lets out a yawn as he walks the path to Octavia's neighborhood. He looks down at his mobile phone, eyeing the direction she sent him via email last night. This should be the right way. He was so ecstatic yesterday when Octavia personally went to the gym to find him, and now she agreed to let him pick her up from her house, and walking to school together, it was making his spirit rising.

Octavia has caught his attention ever since the first year but, he didn't have the nerves to confront her completely. Nishinoya had been watching her from afar, but all it changed when Tanaka encouraged him to push forward, sending a Friend Request on Facebook as a bridge to talk to her, and a miracle happened, it worked.

Nishinoya got the chance to chat with her online, even though it was somewhat awkward at first. Still, she accepted him. It took a few minutes until Nishinoya arrived at Octavia's house, he could see her sitting on the front porch, and she stood up when she saw the Libero and Nishinoya waves his hands up as he ran towards her gleefully. "Octavia-san, I'm here!"

"Shhh, Nishinoya, there are people who are still asleep." She quietly said, her index finger placed on her lips that the Libero stiffen in place. Oh, right. And scratch the back of his head in return with a sheepish smile across his face.

"We should head to school now, everyone is waiting right?" Octavia spoke, earning a nod in agreement from Nishinoya. The two started heading to school and the Libero was walking at a brisk pace beside her. The air around them was quiet but it was the peaceful type, maybe because it was still early in the morning, or because both of them are comfortable in each other's presence.

"Today is basically the best day of my life!" Nishinoya thought happily.

Saito Octavia's POV

I glance at Nishinoya who's lips are tugged upward in a big smile beside me, and I couldn't help but smile as well at the sight, sending a warm feeling in my chest. I let out a deep breath, before looking up at the sky colored in blue, hoping this tranquil moment will last longer than imagined.
