"Emma, let's go you're going to be late!" Mama fixed my coat collar.

"Don't worry mama, the flights at six we can still eat breakfast." I grabbed my suitcase and put it at the door.

"In one hour?" Mama asked.

"Let's just get something at McDonalds." Jesus suggested.

"Yeah it'll be faster." Maria slouched on the couch.

"Grab your suitcase then." Mama grabbed her keys. I walked over to the door and grabbed my suitcase. "Vamos." Mama opened the door. I walked out and opened the back of the car and put my suitcase in.

"So, your last meal here is going to be McDonalds?" Jesus laughed.

"Yeah, because Maria wanted it." I closed the back and went over to the passengers side. Mama came to the car with four cups.

"Here, toma tu leche." Mama gave everyone a cup of milk.

"Thanks." I took my cup.

"Let's go now." Mama started the car.

"Baibai!" I heard my whole family yell as my mother drove off. I waved everyone goodbye from my window,

"Baibai!"

"Nana, are you sure you have everything?" Mother asked me as she made a turn. "Yes, not food though. I'll buy some over there. The school provided students that aren't from America 500 American dollars." I took out my money.

"Don't lose it, I'm expecting you to get a job over there. At least a small one." Mother said as she took a turn into the freeway.

"Don't worry I will." I smiled at her. She smiled back and off we went to the airport.

"Mama! Where'd you put my bag?" I yelled running around the house looking for my bag.

"In the garage!" Mama yelled from outside as she put everyone in their seats. I ran down to the garage and grabbed my bag.

"Adam! Let's go now!" Mama yelled. I ran outside and threw my bags into the car. I got into the car and threw my bags to the back.

"Hey watch it!" Adrien complained.

"Sorry." I buckled my seatbelt. Mama drove off and I looked behind at our old run down house.

"You're going to miss your house huh?" Mama made a sharp turn into the freeway.

"Yeah, I am." I turned back around.

"You better call us!" Daria yelled.

"I will, don't worry." I smiled back at her. Most of the ride we made the best of our last minutes before I left the country.

"Oh, my little bebe is going to America. Make me proud and be one of the top students." Mama pinched my cheeks.

"Don't worry mama. But one the top students will be difficult considering I don't have any special or at all powerful powers to help me." I took my bags out of the car.

"That's why Emma. You'll be the first one." I could tell mama didn't really mean it and was just trying to encourage me.

"Yeah, maybe not one of the top ones, but maybe a good one." I grabbed my high school ID out of my pocket and put it around my neck. I walked into the airport where they were holding the ceremony for the kids going to CSH. I looked around and saw all my old teachers. Freshmans had made a tunnel of balloons. I walked down the tunnel with my suitcase. At the end the entire school cheered me and the other kids that were behind me.
