Chapter 6

Recap

When we got outside Chloe and I froze. We saw our boyfriends with a bouquet each in their hands. When they saw 8s they smiled. We ran up to them. We jumped into their arms wrapping our feet around their torso. We kissed them passionately. We four were ecstatic. Then we started to speak in English. No one in the class understood what we were saying.

"You know I will be your king soon," Damian said. "I will be your queen"

Present time

Mari's POV

We gave our boyfriends one last kiss. Everything was perfect until Lie-la and Alya had to ruin it.

"Who are these people Dupain-Cheng," Alya asked. The four of them decided to ignore her. Alya spoke again "Maritrash who are these people? Did you hire them to make Adrien jealous? Geez, you cannot even get over your massive crush. We all know you cannot get a boyfriend let alone one that looks like him." Damian was furious that people were talking to her Angel like that. He calmed down as soon as I squeezed his hand reassuringly. Lila started speaking to Damian "Hi my name is Lila Rossi. We just want you to know that you do not have to act. You can tell us the truth. I promise we will not let her harm you. Just tell us how much she paid you." Then Alya took command once again "And you Chloe. How did you get yourself a boyfriend? You are a bitch and a bully. Who would like a girl like you."

You could see the rage-filled in Damian's and Tim's eyes. Their blood started to boil. First, they insulted their girlfriends and second they insulted the most powerful men in Gotham city. No one dares insult the Wayne family. Especially their girlfriends. 

Finally, I started to talk back "First of all, I hate Adrien and so does Chloe. He is a coward. Second of all, Chloe and I did not pay these people to pretend to be our boyfriends. Third of all, Lila did you not say that you knew Damian Wayne, or should I say your Damiboo. How come you cannot recognize him. I am standing right next to him." I saw the Italian girl freeze. 

Then Damian started speaking "Lila Rossi, I do not like the fact that you have been spreading lies about our family. The Waynes do not tolerate any sort of lying. My name is Damian Wayne, boyfriend of Marinette Dupain-Cheng, and next to me is my brother, Tim, the boyfriend of Chloe. If you spread any more lies I will sue you and you will go to court. Now that has cleared up, let us start again. My name is Damian Wayne and next to me is my brother. We will be your tour guides."

I could here Alya consoling Lila. Then I noticed something. The group was divided into two groups. The people who still believed Lila surrounded her. The others were in their own group. The people who saw through Lila's lies went up and apologized to me. Since I have a heart of gold, I forgave them. My friend group was bigger than ever. I had Chloe, Alix, Nino, Sabrina, Max, Kim, Nathanial, and Juleka by my side. Then something surprising happened. Nino broke up with Alya. The worst part is, it was their anniversary today. This is how it went:

"Alya we need to talk" Nino said.

Alya ignored Nino and kept helping the Italian girl with the fake crocodile tears. 

"ALYA WE NEED TO TALK!" Nino screamed. This brought everyone's attention to the couple.

"Sure what is wrong" said Alya totally unfazed.

"What is wrong you ask. Let me tell what is wrong. OUR RELATIONSHIP IS WRONG! I am tired of your bullying towards Marinette. It is always about Lila being a perfect angel and how Adrien and Lila are perfect together. You never cared about me. " Nino explained ignoring the tears streaming down the blogger's face. A

Adrien came next to Alya to console her.

Then, Nino spoke again "And you Adrien. You are the worst of all. You told Marinette to take the high road. You knew Lila was lying. You never took Marinette's feelings into consideration. You said that she would be fine since she is our everyday ladybug. Did you even stop to think that she has feelings? She almost got akumatized tree times because of Lila's lies.  Bro, your not the Adrien I became friends with. Telling Marinette to take the high road was a dick move, even for you."

You could see the tears falling on Adrien and on Alya's face. They were a mess. Nino felt more relieved. 

After, the big conversation everyone got to the palace. Damian, Tim, Chloe, and I got the biggest room. I gave my friends a very big suite. Lila and the others got the smallest room. It was nighttime and we fell asleep.
