[um hi, I'm back from the dead, uhhhhh, prepare to be fricken devastated or something]

[If this makes any sense, i combined the beginning of chapter 4.5 and the end of chapter 4, because why not]

Colby woke up in a cold sweat, sitting upright.

No, not about him again, no

I don't want to remember

He felt tears welling up in his dark eyes. This was the fourth time he had this nightmare. The fourth time he had to remember that blonde hair,  those bright blue eyes, that beautifully tanned skin. The Vampire patted around the space next to him, not knowing what to expect.

His tears flowed over is waterline. He shot a hand up to his mouth, trying to muffle any unwanted sounds.

"Sam..." he shakily chocked out, screwing his eyes shut.

Blonde hair, blue eyes, bright smile--

He shot his eyes open. He can't even close his eyes without his eyelids screaming memories of the Pharaoh Prince, Sam Golbach at him. Twelve or some years ago, after receiving a rather nasty phone call from his mother stating that Sam is to stay hella far from Colby for reasons unknown--"He'll sully our reputation as Pharaohs, Samuel , it's for the greater good," the blonde later found out-- Sam committed suicide, being unable to live without Colby. Colby heard about this and spiraled into depression. He would've ended it all if not for his duties as a Prince.

No, that's a lie.

He didn't kill himself because he keeps on living for Sam. Sam would've wanted him to be happy and would've wanted him to keep living.

So he keeps living for Sam and Sam only.

"Colby, why aren't you eating?"

"Father, I'm not really hungry. May I be excused?"

Colby's dad waved a hand, a signal meaning he's allowed to leave. Colby nodded and stood up, leaving the dining hall and going straight to his room.

Once in his room, he opened his closet. Today, he decided, he would stop living.

The last nightmare he had of Sam was three month ago. Two days ago, he had a dream about the blonde, in which the blonde told him that they could be together again, in another life; Colby woke up in tears once the dream ended. The odd dream completely contradicted with his thinking that Sam wanted him to be alive, but it doesn't matter.

Out of his closet he took a rope, which he tied into a noose over a year ago. He tied the end around a beam on his ceiling, standing on a chair.

Smiling, he put the looped end around his neck and took a step of his chair.

He's falling, falling... falling

Colby was caught by two tanned arms. He was confused at first, then looked at the face of the person who caught him.

Baby blue eyes, a bright smile, blonde hair...

Sam...
