Don't judge what you don't understand.

I feel shallow, at the same time drowned
People say focus on the good but what if there is no good to be found
I'm constant in a ever swaying motion
Battling the waves as I float in the ocean

They tell me to breathe but how, if our lungs are filled with water
They tell us to think...but how if fighting our fears get more harder.
How can we think when the voices in our heads are so loud
Drowning out the once happy times left unfound.

They tell us to get over the bad
To remember the good and forget the sad.
But it's much easier said than done
We aren't allowed to have any fun
Because the demons that keep us under
Keep feeding the fire that burns wilder

I am scared of finding the peace
Of seeing what opportunities there is to seas.
Because each passing second of each dreaded day
Is the reminder that you don't have control over your fate

They ask us why? When we want to die
But to us it's not dying as much as surviving
In reality our bodies feel hollow.
That's why we find substances to drown out the sorrow
They  say it's okay, and in reality it is.
But in your life it feels like your being put out on the streets

You have come to love the dark at night
For you don't feel alone or have to fight.
The dark swallow and holds you tight
While your heart rid itself from fright

So next time you feel the need to tell us something you have no idea about
Quickly, take a look around
Find the root that no one has ever found
Digg your way though those walls
Till your the only person left in their hearts are you to call.
