Chapter 14

Daniel's P.O.V

I was surprised that sage wanted to hang out with me.

" So want to hangout this weekend ? " she said, my eyes widen a little, " Uh, sure." I said, she smiled at me, god her smile made me weak, " See you Friday then !" She said.

I woke up with my alarm blaring loudly, I hit with much force as I could, it stopped, I sat up and rubbed my face, " Today is Friday." I thought, sage wanted to hang out today, just me and her, I got out of bed and went to the bathroom.

I looked in the mirror, bed hair, as I looked at my reflection, my roomate, Jack, came in the bathroom, which startled me, " DUDE, WHAT THE HELL ?!" I yelled, " Sorry man, you were taking forever, man's got to do his business." He said, I rolled my eyes and left.

I had gotten dressed in a shirt and jeans, I messed my hair up a bit to make it somewhat descent, I grabbed my car keys, " Somebody got a hot date ?" Asked jack, I blushed a little, " It's not a date, we're just hanging out." I said, " Sure, just " Hanging out"." He said putting bunny ears around hanging out, " Look, me and sage are just hanging out, nothing more, nothing less." I said.

Jack walked up to me, " Make sure you don't do anything stupid and here." He said, he handed me a condom, " Really ?" I said, " Hey may never know." He said giving me the finger guns.

I stopped in front of Mr.Emily's house, I could feel my heart beating fast, why was a nervous ? It's just two friends hanging out, right ? I saw the door open, sage looked at the car, smiling, she wore a sleeveless dress, it showed off her curves in all the right places, no, no time to get all worked up Daniel.

Sage hopped in the car, " Ready ?" She asked, " Sure." I said, I stared the car, not before seeing Mr.Emily doing the " I'm watching you" finger movement.

We stopped at a rollerskating ring, " I've never been rolling skating before." She said, " Don't worry, I'll teach you, I use to rollskate a lot as a kid." I said, we put on our skates, sage looked hesitant, I grabbed her hand, " Don't worry, I won't let you fall." I said softly.

Sage held my hand, but I could tell she was getting the hang of it, " See, you got it." I said, sage was now balancing herself, she almost fell, but she kept her balance, " I'm doing it, I think." She said.

Next thing I knew, we were skating together, she laugh as she skated, she was adorable, " Come on Danny." She said grabbing my other hand, we spun around in a circle, it felt like we were the only ones in the place, just me and her, the place dark with only the spotlight on us and the music playing.

Shit, I'm in love with her.

We went to a diner that was famous for their burgers and fries, and milkshakes, " That was fun." Said sage, " Glad you had a good time." I said, " So since I told you about myself, I want to know about you." She said, I never really talked myself to people that much, mainly because no one was interested.

" Okay, I grew up in a small town, I have a older sister and two younger brothers, my dad runs a auto shop and my mom owns a cafe." I said, " Cool, did you work with one of them ?" She asked.

" No, I was kinda of a troubled child, meaning I got into things I shouldn't have gotten into." I said, " What kinda stuff ?" She asked, " Like smoking weed, vandalism, stealing." I said, I cringe at the things I did back then.

" My parents were pretty well know in the town, so whenever I got in trouble, they knew right away it was me, they gave me chances and I kept blowing them, then one day, my dad had enough and sent me to live with his parents, my grandparents here, and let me tell you they are strict people, no wonder why my dad left." I said.

I felt a hand on mine, " Hey but look at you, you've changed for the better, and just because you did something bad in your past, it doesn't have to effect your future." She said, I smiled, having someone to talk to about my past felt good, " Thanks for listening sage." I said smiling.

We were now in the park, it was empty of people, we sat on a blanket, that I ironically had in the back of my car, we were laying on it.

" This is nice." She said, " As a kid, I would come outside and look at the stars, until my mom told me to come inside." She said, we sat in silence, she sat up, " I had great time and I know that we may not know much about each other, but It feels like I knew you since forever." She said.

" I love you !" I blurted out, I covered my mouth, she looked at me, eyes widen with shock, my heart raced like crazy in my chest, that was never ment to come out, she's going to reject me, when she was finally out of shock, she smiled at me, " I love you too." She said.

I pressed my lips to hers, they were soft, just like I imagined, she wrapped her arms around my neck, deeping the kiss even more, she straddled me, I wrapped my arms around her waist, she smelled of strawberries.

We pulled for air, man fuck oxygen, we both were panting, she chuckled, " Feels like someone is happy." She said, I blushed, " I'm so sorry." I said, " Don't be." She said, putting her forehead on mine.

" We don't have to go further." She said, I gripped her thighs, rubbing my hands up and down her thighs, sage was on the curvy side, but I didn't mind, " No, I want to keep going." I said, she kissed me again, this was going to be a long night.
