These New Feelings

The Party

 The party was in 15 minutes. Bakugo slipped on black jeans and T-shirt and went down stairs. He prayed that Kendo would show up just so he could talk to her a little bit more. One word was his highest expectation. Only 5 minutes passed and class 1-B started showing up. He sat on the couch trying to look cool and kept an eye out for her. 

 And there she is. In a black knee-high dress and hair tied up in the usual ponytail. Bakugo smiled without knowing it. He got up and walked over to Kendo.

 "Hey, Kendo. You look nice." He said. The sight of her made his heart tingle.

 "Oh, hi, Bakugo. Thank you." she replied. "You also look nice. Hey we're matching!"

 He was confused at first, but then realized what she meant. "Heh, yeah. You wanna grab some soda?"

 "Damn he's hot." Kendo thought.

 "This is your chance. Flirt with her." Bakugo thought. "So, I'm guessing lots of guys fight over you, right?"

 "I'm flattered, but I don't think I am that likable. Unless it's happening behind my back, but I doubt it." said Kendo.

 "That's not true . You're pretty, smart, tough, and have a great quirk. What is there not to like about you? You're awesome." The words slipped out of his mouth. He almost let his feelings take over. He can't let his feelings take over. Not that he liked her.

 "Really? That's so sweet, Bakugo." she said. 

 "What? I mean, whatever. No big deal." Bakugo blushed. "I did mean it though."

 Bakugo and Kendo came over to the table and learned they were being watched. "So when's the wedding?" asked Ashido asked grinning.

 "Shut up. We're not even dating." Bakugo retorted.

 "Are you sure? Because I heard your comment." Ashido said pushing her limits.

 "What did I just tell you?!" He sighed. "We're nothing more than friends right now, so don't get any thoughts." Ashido nodded, still grinning.

 They stood by the table and talked a bit, with a little hint of flirtation. As they were talking, Bakugo noticed Mineta and Kaminari muttering to each other while looking at Kendo. This ticked him off. "What are those perverts saying about her?"  he thought. Kendo noticed them too and blushed. Bakugo decided to catch them.

 "Don't forget her round body. And her boobs." Mineta whispered to Kaminari just as Bakugo came over.

 "Hey, Dunce and ball-head! Quit talking  purvey stuff about Kendo! If I catch you in the act again I chase you until blow your brains out!" yelled Bakugo.

 "Geez! Okay, okay. But why do you care about what we say about her more than other girls?" said Mineta.

 "Duh! He likes her!" Kaminari gestured to Kendo. "Right, Bakugo?"

 "NO WAY!" Bakugo stormed off back to her and Lida made an announcement. The slow dancing music was about to start.
